?Travels in the Land of Ingeld? an exhibition of original landscape paintings Remy Noe PRIVATE VIEW Friday the 13th of February 2015 6.30pm ? 9.30pm Doopo Doopo, 15 Dartmouth Road, London, SE23 3HN EXHIBITION: 14th ? 28th February 2015 ?The paintings in this exhibition are my seeking of not only the visual look of the landscape, but also to get under its skin and try to find its essence via the deep roots of the layers of mythology that are imprinted upon its fabric.? ? Remy Noe ?Growing up with Gender dysphoria I found that the twin outlets of art and the countryside of Kent, with its haunting landscape kept me sane. Exploring its grass covered lanes high up on the North Downs and diving into its mythic history helping to distance myself from the feelings I had about myself. These twin passions became combined and the resulting paintings in these rooms are the fruits of this.? ? Remy Noe R?my No?, is an English painter, a member of the international art movement Stuckism and cofounder of the Maidstone Stuckists.
