Hi. Some of the ceiling at the top of a high stairwell in our 1880's house has collapsed, and more looks like it could come down. We desperately need someone who could (in the first instance) do some emergency work pulling down any more weak plaster, and then platerboarding over the areas. The hook is that this is subject to an insurance claim re subsidence, and if successful will lead to much more extensive work which you'll be well placed to win. Apologies if this has already been picked up earlier, but I was appaled to discover that Chris Pretty's greengrocer on Northcross St had closed down abruptly, after 42 years of service. I gather from the stallholder opposite that its 'something to do with the lease' but has anyone any more info?. Pretty Trad was the heart and soul of Northcross St and I can't believe its gone so fast. Any chance they will re-open in new premises? Sad there doesn't seem to be a way of telling what's happended to customers (ten years worth in my case.... ) Danny
