  1. Thanks to those who got in touch. There are still slots available
  2. I'm a trainee health Psychologist currently almost mid-way through a mindfulness course being run at King's College Hospital. I'm offering "taster" one-to-one mindfulness sessions to people who may be interested in partaking in an 8-week course but unsure about the time commitment, or for those who would prefer exploring mindfulness outside of a group setting. These can be based in Denmark Hill near KCH, depending on time of day, at your home or even via SKYPE. I have a range of qualifications and experience in Mindfulness including: Certificate in teaching clients mindfulness skills, accredited by the British Psychological Society Level 1 Mindfulness Teacher accreditation with Breathworks Certificate in Mindfulness and Self Compassion Training Distinction in MSc thesis on Mindfulness based Cognitive Therapy for Multiple Sclerosis Lead and facilitated both Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and individualised Mindfulness Based Therapy interventions privately, for a charity and the NHS. I am offering taster sessions before my next mindfulness 8 week course due to start slightly later this year. The sessions cost ?40. Happy to answer any questions you have via private message. All the best!
  3. Hi Anna, I am hoping to organise in the new year. I'll post on here when I do. :-)
  4. Hi Daniel, Really interested in hearing a bit more about this. Do you have any more details? Thanks, Sula
  5. Just to add to this, I am getting a number of messages of people querying whether their health complaint would apply - I am happy to talk with anyone about any health issue. I am offering phone sessions but in some circumstances I may be able to make face to face consultations down the line. For those of you who don't want CBT or mindfulness but would like some advice or signposting of free resources I am happy to provide this. Warm Wishes
  6. I am a trainee health psychologist, completing my training and PhD at King's College London. My work focuses on people with persistent health problems, many of whom are often referred to as having "Medically Unexplained Symptoms". Conditions that often fall into this bracket are chronic fatigue, irritable bowel syndrome, chronic cystitis/irritable bladder, fibromyalgia, chronic pain etc. I also have experience of working with people with diagnosed persistent medical problems such as diabetes, asthma, multiple sclerosis and more. As part of my training I am offering free cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) sessions for people who feel that they could benefit. I also teach mindfulness and would be happy to provide training in this. If you are interested in hearing more or would like to discuss in more detail, please do get in touch.
