  1. Updated to correct the phone number 07905 044912
  2. Just a quick note to recommend John McCann (07905 044912) for plastering. We've just finished painting a job he did last week - the finish of his plaster is superb, very smooth. John did everything: hacking off old material, dot and dab new plaster boards, bonding, plastering. He protected new windows before starting, kept the area tidy and cleaned up when he finished. He's a bloody nice guy charges a fair price too.
  3. A quick recommendation for Gary (07572 588 222) who has just finished working on my bathroom in ED. Gary achieved a great finish on a difficult job (multiple tile types, sizes and complex installation around windows etc). He worked to solve issues arising from the tile supplier (colour miss-match), ordering replacement tiles, lifting re-laying the whole floor (free of charge from both the tile supplier and Gary). Gary also installed the bath, sink and toilet, including plumbing. This work was out of the initial scope and Gary therefore did it as a part of the original fixed price.
  4. In Geneva we launched with vehicles being hand delivered/collected to/from customers at the meet and greet (kiss and fly) zone, which is at the door of the terminal building. We're now engaged with the airport to have dedicated parking bays in the same location. It would work the same way at London terminals, initially we'd run meet and greet until a commercial agreement could be put in place to have dedicated on-site parking.
  5. Hi All, I've just read this thread with great interest as I've recently launched a car-share airport transfer service for ski tourists in Geneva (I live in East Dulwich and have extensive business and leisure travel experience having always found the airport transfer to be both costly and inconvenient). I'm currently evaluating whether it would be useful for domestic airport transfers and would therefore greatly appreciate your feedback. How it works (It's essentially Zipcar for airport transfers); A customer books a car for a door-to-door transfer, we deliver it to their location (home/work/etc), they drive to the airport and park it just outside the terminal building. On the return they take the car from our parking and drive home leaving the car parked legally (on-street/off street). The benefits: High quality (efficient and simple) and low cost (approx. ?40,00 each way). We're looking at electric vehicles so the service could potentially be Green. Any feedback greatly appreciated. Cheers, Mike
