I also highly recommend Alan Naish at 123 chimney sweeps - he's a fantastic, friendly and respectful guy. He comes every year and does a great job - he's quick, clean and good value - ?70 for my open fire. Also - they are a 5th generation family business, what's not to like about that!

I highly recommend Gary Skinner of First Choice Decorating (07572588222)for building, decorating and home refurbishment work. Gary?s been refitting our bathroom and carrying out external refurbishments. The standard of his work is very high. He and his teammate Ray are both fastidious about quality. There are no shortcuts. Gary insists on going the extra mile and is way more interested in doing a great job for you than profiting from you. They have a huge amount of knowledge and skill that you can rely on. Their customer service is good too. They are extremely flexible ? happy to change the order or timing of work to meet your schedule. They?ll take time to talk you through the work in as much or little detail as you need. Throughout the project they?ve checked in daily with me to ask my preferences and keep me updated. It?s great to have people in your home that you can trust implicitly, who are friendly, professional and tidy. Good value all round.

Great experience with David and Patrick from Norwood Roofing. They are friendly, trustworthy, tidy and did a brilliant repair job on our roof - in fact, they did more work than originally quoted for but only charged the original amount we agreed. They sent photos of the job that evening too so I had a record. Very happy to recommend them.

I can't recommend Alan from 123 Chimney Sweeps highly enough. It's a family business going back to the 19th Century and you can tell. He does a great job, he's incredibly friendly and trustworthy and rightly proud of his family's business.
