Hi, I am looking for a reliable and recommended general builder to look at my property and assess what is causing a patch of damp. There is confusion about whether water/rain is coming from the window or the roof, however what is certain is it is causing mould in the flat. All recommendations gratefully received. Thanks.

I just wanted to share my recent experience of using Ben James to help out with the refurbishment of our house. Ben is a general builder who has a team of specialists that he calls upon for certain jobs. I have used him 4 times so far to repair our roof, redecorate the house, refurbish the bathroom, fit a new floor and repair the guttering. Hello, I live in Nunhead and am currently doing a Masters Degree in Environmental and Earth Resources Management at Kingston University. For the final part of my degree I am writing a dissertation on the public's views of water in terms of how they value and use this vital resource, whether they have seen any communication from their water provider during the recent drought period and whether they agreed with the information that was in it. Finally, I am trying to assess whether people agree that domestic water usage is an issue for them and what they think should be done about it. To this end I have created a questionnaire that I would be very grateful if you could take the time to fill it in and return it to me. All replies that I receive will only be used for this dissertation. In addition, all responses are completely anonymous - I don't even ask your name - and it only takes 5 minutes to complete the questionnaire. If you would like to receive it, I am happy to send you the Executive Summary of the report once it is written which will be sometime after 14 September. The view from Ladlands estate is fantastic and all the people I have met there are friendly.

I love this little station. I've been using it for about four years. It does get a bit busy at 8.00 when people are trying to get on the 8.10 train to Victoria and the 8.13 train to Blackfriars, but you soon work out where you should stand on the platform to maximise your chance of a seat etc. Plus the view is outstanding.
