  1. We're hoping either the director or producer will be coming to the screening on Dec 7th to introduce the film, when this and other important questions can be put to them. See the Paradiso website for details of time, venue
  2. Dulwich Paradiso Film Society will screen the award-winning Treacle Jr on Tues 7 Dec as part of our Autumn 2010 season. Full details on the website or on Facebook. Many thanks to the director and producer for giving us permission to screen the film.
  3. Anyone know of any parents and kids under 16 who might want to take part in a free one day animation workshop on 26 August (10am-4pm) at the Centre for Wildlife Gardening in Peckham. It's run by the BFI. Nice thing for parents/grandparents/carers to do with their children. The films they make will be screened as part of the Peckham Free Film Festival, which is being organised by Dulwich Paradiso Film Society and its partners. Email [email protected] for details or to sign up. See the what's on section of the Free Film Festivals website for more info.
  4. Thanks for your kind comments about Paradiso. Next Paradiso screening is tomorrow night by the way - Fish Tank (cert 15). Details at www.paradisofilm.co.uk.
  5. Tomorrow's film is "I saw Ben Barka get killed" Last week's film was a sell out. So come early and have a drink in the bar Upstairs at the EDT before the film. We are also still interested in showing short films by local film makers. So, if you would like your film to be seen contact us via our web site: www.paradisofilm.co.uk
  6. Yes. We do great cakes, we show great films and we shall also have our famous quiz game.
  7. For those of you new to East Dulwich, we are a community run film society that has been going for over ten years. In our time we've played at the Thomas Moore Hall, The Dulwich Club (now a gated development), Upstairs at the EDT and at the Magdala. For the past few years we've been in exile at the The Castle in Crystal Palace Road but for our new season starting on Tuesday 17th April we're back at the EDT in Lordship Lane. For more details check out our web site www.paradisofilm.co.uk We're interested in previewing short films by local film makers and getting involved with local community events. so, apart from coming to see our films, if you've got any comments or suggestions, post us a message.
