Thank you to everyone for your kind comments about our cat Gordon. I am posting a photo of him for you all in his favourite pose across the pavement in Landells Road. Remembering Gordon fondly. Xx

Thank you for your support. We are still coming to terms with not having Gordon around anymore. He will be missed for sleeping across the pavement in Landells Road. 😭

Brown bin collection - Council starting to charge?
jtm replied to slarti b's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
The website www.southwark.gov.uk/gardenwaste explains the new service and the charge ?25 for June 2019- end of March 2020. The price in the letter for the collection service is ?30 for a year. Not very consistent. Also only applies to homes with gardens. -

Yes that is Gordon. I've just looked on Facebook and seen the lovely photo of him. No update on his injuries yet. He is alive but his back legs are damaged. Thank you to all who communicated and for contacting the RSPCA. We are very grateful to you all. Gordon is a well loved cat residing in Landells Road.

Gordon is alive but badly injured. We have collected him from the RSPCA Hospital and he is with Medivets. They are assessing his injuries.

Thank you so much for informing the RSPCA and tending to Gordon. They have contacted us and taken him to RSPCA Putney.

Just found out that The Palmerston in Lordship Lane is closing on 3rd June. Their lease is not being renewed. So sad. This will be a great loss to East Dulwich.
