  1. My son Frankie is 16 (17 in February) he is available a few days in the week and weekends to walk your dogs. He charges ?10 an hour abs is very reliable.
  2. It wasn?t a word I used myself, it was a word that was used to describe what the shop was going to be by the construction workers. Yes it is nice to have a support unit in place to stop crime being committed further, but being a mother of a child that was put in hospital due to being mugged I also know that it doesn?t matter what support you give SOME people they just go to these places because it was part of their punishment not because it was a choice of their own. The same boy who put my son in hospital is still round my area causing trouble after 6 months of visiting a detention centre. I know this doesn?t apply to every offender but I believe they wouldn?t all chose to commit to this support voluntarily
  3. I have been looking at the council website for a planning notice but haven?t found one. Hopefully this may be false information.
  4. It?s a centre for reoffenders- they offer a support programme to help people stay out of prison or that have been convicted of a crime they have committed. Like a check in point similar to probation
  5. I totally get these centres have to placed somewhere and nobody will welcome them, I just think these programmes should be within court areas- like probation type facilities. There is a probation centre within camberwell court, wouldn?t these types of programmes be better within that type of environment instead of right next to a betting shop and Tesco.
  6. the money shop on Rye Lane is becoming a delinquent centre. I for one am not happy about this as my son has been a victim of mugging to which on one occasion ended up in hospital with a broken arm so bad he needed surgery. I know these centres need to be somewhere and I get they are trying to help reoffenders to stay out of trouble, however I don?t think this is the right area to do this. I see secondary school kids from schools in the area causing trouble as it is I don?t want more trouble to be attracted to my door step.

  10. Hi Lisa do we come to you? I am looking to have a spray tan how much and did I see you do nails too?
  11. Thank you Edmummy. I will take your advice.
  12. What my problem is also, my son cannot attend that school for obvious reasons and Harris boys have not even offered any reassurance to my son that he will be safe or any action I.e my son leave early or staff allocated to these boys at break or during the school day. Could you imagine what they will do to my son if he goes their. Especially now they have been arrested and awaiting court!
  13. Yes police are involved.i don't hold the school responsible for the children's actions. What I do hold them responsible for is the children's actions on the schools premises. I know exactly who these boys are and they have been involved with a number of incidents at that school. At my school we will liaise with the parents and make sure the children who may have attack another child or any other incident understand the consequences of their actions and how severe their actions are. Also if we feel these children may be a threat or danger to our other pupils we would see what actions we can take to prevent this from happening again. I would expect this from all schools not just where I work.
  14. Although you have all written such great reviews about Harris boys East Dulwich. I believe you should all know that my son who was supposed to starting Harris in September, was attacked by a group of boys from that school. My son was put in hospital and has had to have surgery! These boys are still attending this school and are words of the head teacher ' trouble makers who are always in isolation' Also may I bring to your attention that a mother I know her son is in year 7. He is being bullied and went so far the boy pulled his braces from his mouth because he couldn't stand the verbal abuse. Now if this school is so fantastic why is this boy refusing to go to school. Why is my son petrified to go out or even go to this school come September! So although they may have outstanding from ofsted( 3 years ago) I can say in my opinion it doesn't seem so hot to deal with bullying or safety of their pupils!
