Can anyone explain this? I've been wondering about this as well. I use the Better (ha) Gym in West Norwood. It's crazy expensive but it is on my way home from work. I know if I leave and join another gym I am unlikely to go as often. I don't understand how a council run gym is so much more expensive than a private gym. Surely it should be cheaper to encourage locals to get fitter? I'm also really annoyed that you cannot just join the gym. You have to pay for swimming and the gym as part of the membership.

  4. And if something does happen, maybe you could interview the perps for me and find out the answers to all my questions! Brilliant!
  5. Perhaps I am doomed to never get to the bottom of the English stag party wee & poo obsession. There are some things perhaps man is not meant to understand. Such is life.

I was just wondering what the craic was with English stag parties having weird fixations with bodily functions. (I am aware this query originally came about because of a silly TV programme. I know it is not representative of all English people, before anyone jumps down my throat. This thread just reminded me of it.)
  7. But to be fair, all the "moaning" has led to the manky eejit in question more or less being identified. As long as the photo gets passed along to the relevant people, there is a good chance he will be found and at least made to apologise. It also means he is less likely to do it again, which does protect bar staff in the long run.
  8. Did anyone here ever watch those "Boozed up Brits Abroad" programmes? I used to be shocked about how many english lads used to be filmed drinking their own wee/ other people's wee etc. Being Irish, I used to find it odd that it always seemed to be English lads doing it and I quizzed my English boyfriend about it quite a bit. Is it some sort of English tradition? Being silly with human waste products on stag nights? Or were the lads in EDT merely trying to build upon a tired cliche and do something new and exciting? Discuss.

Unlurked was obviously making a joke. And I was obviously commenting on the concept of someone doing a massive poo on a floor, not the photo. (Although yer man in the photo was no looker...) PS. I agree, please forward the photo to the police/ EDT. Leaving a bio-hazard in the middle of a floor in a public area really isn't on.
  10. Mods, feel free to delete this thread; owner was found almost as soon as I posted the message on my mobile.
  11. Has anyone just lost a dog near Dulwich College? A puppy in a harness. It is with the Police now, I have the ref number, PM me with details, can pass it on. Edit: Owner found, fair play to the police!
  12. The only thing that was missing from the video was a Mam being upset about the emersion being left on. That was my entire childhood; being shouted at about the emersion. El Pibe, I am sure the Irish Shop sells Denny's white pudding.
  13. There are loads of 24hr shops in ED! Try living in Honor Oak or Gipsy Hill!
  14. Pretty relevant bit about 2 min 15secs in, hehehehe.....
