  2. Hey everyone, has anyone seen the ginger cat in these photos? Missing from Derwent Grove since this morning. Please let me know if you have seen recently.
  3. Hi, we are levelling our soil (freshly sieved)and laying turf this weekend and are looking for 1 or 2 labourers to help. Please message if you are interested. Thanks
  4. Hi My youngest is allergic to dairy (in all forms including goat etc) its the protein that he cant break down and makes him over produce mucus so very congested also. Mucous settles on chest so sleeping was difficult unless raised. Nutramigen AA was the only formula he accepted and as someone has said already, the protein is broken down more significantly. It will take a few days for the content of the pepti to leave his system so you will need to wait for this to judge how he's doing. My youngest is also allergic to gluten which makes him squeal all night too. when settled with diary free formula, you might want to explore this but I really recommend asking your doctor for a referral to the paediatric allergy clinic at St Thomas's. They are brilliant and will help you through this with more knowledge and support than my doctor was able to give. Best of luck.
  5. Hi We neeed some labourers to strip out a house of carpet, bathroom suite, kitchen units and remove wall paper. If you are interested, please let me know. The house is in central East Dulwich. Thanks
  6. Thanks so much for your responses, I'll look into the buggies suggested but I have to say that the duo is looking good with the guaruntee it will through all the essential doorways in East Dulwich!
  7. Hi I'm looking into buying a double buggy as we will need one for our nanny share arrangement. The babies are 7 & 8 months so potentially a lot of buggy use still to come and important that they both have equal sight lines. The Mountain Buggy Dup looks like the best side by side on the market but also expensive. Does anyone have any expereince with this buggy (2010 model which apparently goes through a standard door) or reccomendations for any others? Many thanks in advance!
  8. Hi all I've just picked up this thread as i was about to ask for advice on combination feeding and where to get decent advice from on how to do it / quantities etc. Ruth, I empathise with your despair! My baby cries so hysterically if I get the quantities & timing wrong which makes sleeping a rare occurance during the day. Luckily we seem to have night time off to a fine art - phew! Bumpy, I will try and go to milky moments tomorrow, it sounds great. I've been reluctant to go to the breasfeeding cafes as the breastfeeding experts i have spoken to so far just tell me that I will make what he needs which I clearly don't! Meanwhile, any suggestions on tops ups welcome. Did you do staright after breastfeeding or after an hour, how much did you give, how often did you express / how much did you get and has anyone actually recovered to an adequate supply of milk??
  9. Hi, is anyone else having problems with Virgin Broadband? I have a terribly slow service since I first subscribed over a year ago. I upgraded to the 10mb download speed a couple of months ago and it has not improved, still only getting a download speed of around 0.3mb. After about a dozen calls to Virgin they have finally ackowledged that the service is the area (Bellenden Road) is suffering form over utilisation and cannot advise when it will be resolved. For anyone thinking of subscribing I would recommend looking elsewhere. Another problem with Virgin is that once you have a Virgin phone line, a pre-requisite for the broadband (I think), you can't broadband provider unless you want the hassle of changing the phone back to BT. I would be interested to know if anyone else is having these problems.
