Carol will be bringing along original 1940's clothes from her wonderful archives as well as copies of her books for you to browse or buy. We have 2 spaces left on our TEENAGERS DRESSMAKING WORKSHOP this Saturday 9th August at The White Room SE4. We'll be teaching The teens how to use a sewing machine and an overlocker while they learn to use a commercial sewing pattern to make their own trendy Summer top to wear home on the day! (if they want!) The workshop runs from 10 am - 3.30 pm and is ?65 which includes their sewing pattern and all machines and equipment. They will need to bring 1.5 metres cotton fabric or purchase some from us on Saturday as we have a small selection of fantastic cotton prints for sale in our studio.
