  1. Thanks for the mention siousxiesue. Absolutely loved our session today, so much fun and an amazing group I have never laughed so much whilst keeping fit! Thanks to FM and the rest of the team for being so friendly and welcoming. Can't do next week but will be back the following week!
  2. Hi there, I want to get fitter in 2017 and would love to join you on Saturday if you have room for a newbie? Do I have to send a form off to AHM Go? Thanks in advance Sarah
  3. I went on my own this evening and it was an amazing experience. They staff are very professional and I felt totally relaxed. There is a male and a female therapist. I got the ?35 group on package and was there over an hour. I would have paid full price it was that good. I wore a bikini and brought my own towel. There are lockers provided for valuables. They do supply "wet" shoes and Turkish towels. The steam room, scrub, bubbles, massage and hair washing felt luxurious and relaxing and I have never felt so clean. Then after you get taken to a relaxation room for traditional mint tea and Turkish delight.
  4. Just been for a lovely slice of cake and cup of tea at Watsons General Telegraph, Forest Hill Road. All the proceeds go to Macmillan Cancer Research. Any locals around I would definitely recommend popping in. (see pics attached)
  5. Hi Mary, Are you doing the 5k fun run next Saturday? Me too! House of Tippler, Lordship Lane does an amazing brunch (have attached pics) - I would book in advance though as such a big group. Good luck on run.
  6. I can reccomend the East Dulwich Therapy rooms, Rahul was fantantic and he did Chinese medicine too.
  7. Thank you for your suggestions, I will look into both the activity weekends and mentoring both sound extremely rewarding and will be so beneficial for me in the adoption process, even if I wasn't adopting this would be something I would love to do. It's fantastic there are these schemes that help children out there. I will also check out doit.org.uk. Thanks again.
  8. Hi there, I don't know if this the correct place to post, apologies if it isn't. My husband and I are thinking of adopting through Southwark Council and as part of the process they advise that you have some volunteering work with children. I have looked up some volunteering websites, which have some great suggestions but as I work full time I am only available weeknights and weekend, there wasn't anything local available. I looked into brownies & guides but they start too early. Does anyone know of anyone looking for volunteers? Also has anyone gone through the adoption process with Southwark Council? Any advice would be appreciated, we are at the very start of this journey. Feel free to PM me. Thanks in advance.
