I've just had my flu liner fitted, and will get the same guy back to install the wood burning stove - his name is Paul Long, on 07946 508053. Paul is HETAS registered so can self-certify his work (i.e. it doesn't require building control sign-off), and he's not registered for VAT so there's a saving there. He's very pleasant and I felt he knew his stuff.

Hi Michelli, the planning process was fine (I don't think they want to prevent people making their bays look like the originals in a conservation area!), but I did get an architect to do drawings. I used Gruff Ltd who are local.

Hello Just picking up on the above messages, and wondering if anybody does have recommendations of who to use for recreating all the elements of a Victorian bay please? I think mine was removed c. 1960, and I've just got planning permission to reinstate it. Thanks, Alex
