  1. I am a fan of Dr Greger, too. I surf Instagram a lot to find whole food plant based or vegan accounts. As well as How Not to Die/Diet (and the cookbook), I gather that @govegan has just published a recipe book. And I found that the BBC GoodFood website has some fabulous receipts. I also highly rate the website called Love and Lemons. I love eating wfpb - I have lost (intentionally) 30lbs since the last week of July doing this and eliminating sugar, flour, alcohol and snacks from my eating habits. Food now tastes amazing and I am sure it is because I am eating nothing processed (aside from tofu and oat milk). Good luck with your researches :)
  2. Hi! Congratulations on your new arrival. Obviously all of the classes in various live venues are now closed, but there are Loads and Loads of things going on online. www.happity.co.uk is a brilliant resource, set up by a local mum moreover, and you will see about a million things listed there - some free, some one off, some weekly. There is something for everyone there. I am running online introductions to my Sing and Sign classes via Happity this Thursday and I will also be running Sing and Sign Babes classes LIVE on Zoom from w/c 13th April. Babes is suitable for babies of 0 - 5 months. I know that Punk Me Up ceramics cafe had converted to offering a delivery service with its fab ceramics, but I don't know now if they are able to continue. Check out their instagram page @punkmeupcafe I hope that is helpful. It is a crazy time at the moment - and do take care :) Trish Sing and Sign Southwark
  3. I am with Ribrob on this. I have been a committed peckhamplex user for years and years - but recently (in the last year or two) whenever I have been it has either been filled with very noisy kids or very noisy (and drunk) adults and I have finally given up on the Plex in favour of ED picture house which is not noisy and I have yet to encounter anyone drunk in the cinema. Makes it a no brainer for me.
  4. I was so fed up with virgin media that I ditched them a year ago for EE broadband. I was fearful that it would be incredibly slow in comparison butbthen reminded myself we hadn?t had any broadband for 9 weeks prior to that. My experience of EE so far is positive. Yes there are times when it seems slower, but it rarely actually stops working altogether. Virgin has oversold itself in this area and its infrastructure can?t cooeZ Do yourselves a favour and ditch them!
  5. Dear James, I too am very sad that you were not re-elected. Well - shocked, actually. I come from a background where we voted for the person with the best attributes, not the party. I hold you in very high regards - you have always behaved ethically, promptly and effectively with your constituents. As said above, you have set the highest bar and tbh I look forward to you being welcomed back at the next election. Thank you for your work on my behalf - I have never experienced such a rapid and effective resolution to a problem with Southwark Council. Kind regards Trish Cummings
  6. I just cancelled my direct debit, since after nearly three weeks of the 39 day?s notice I received an email telling me about my December bill!! When I dropped my virgin equipment off at Barry Road stores yesterday, the fenltlmean said mine was the fifth to be dropped off that morning!!
  7. jimlad48 Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > We're on the toastrack and have also been having > intermittent problems due to 'low power' too. > Seriously thinking about other options now too. They spin any old yarn to fob us off, I think. I was told my problem amwas local area one due to signal to noise ratio. And that was apparently sorted for me a day after my contract ended. And yet noise is still one of the culprits. I smell BS.
  8. I recently just gave up on Virgin. Contract finished on 9/12 and I received a jubilant message Fri. Then say I g the service (absent for 6 weeks) was niw back up and running on 10/12. Utterly rubbish. I would love to be a virgin media customer - but until they actually provide the very expensive service that they say they do, I am no longer wasting ?75 a month on them. Now with EE since mid November and all working well so far. Frankly, even if I had an erratic service from them it would be better than VirginMedia. I recommend you to jump ship if you aren?t tied into to a lengthy contract with penalties.
  9. I am throwing my towel with VM. Been with them 7 years. I now have a hub that is blinking green WiFi and internet constantly, ie, no effing service. ?75 pcm for no service? I have bailed - we are getting EE B.B. in Mid November. ?41 pcm including a modest TV package and 5gb more phone data for my partner.
  10. I am almost at the end of my tether with virgin media too. This might be the push I need. We are in Darrell road and it is ludicrous. There are problems virtually daily. One would have hoped that losing lots of customers might be a reason to improve their service...
  11. David - I see no one has replied yet! I am a virgin media customer and whilst the speed is great when you can get it, it is clear that VM has oversold itself here because we regularly have problems with speed and access. I am looking for an alternative because currently my VM tv, broadband and phone package (we never use the landline) costs me ?70 a month!! Have you found an alternative to Taljtalk?
  12. Hi! I have just popped my head over to your Tumblr page and I am really sad to see my classes described thus: Sing and Sign: This one split opinion. Some think it is good but others say it is expensive for someone singing to a recording. Could I place on record that the only time I HAVE sung to a recording was in the January 2016 term when I had laryngitis for 8 weeks? The greater part of my classes are sung a cappella, with the remainder of the songs sung to an accompaniment. Thank you! Trish Cummings Sing and Sign Southwark
  13. Yes Lavender- my speed is ridiculous. Down to 0.44 Mbps! Fed up.
