Just jumping on here to recommend Yazelectricsuk Bekir Ozerden - who has rewired our house, helped us with council alternation applications and also worked for a few friends of ours on similar electrical projects. He is punctual, efficient, clean and tidy and always super professional. He respects the existing decor when making changes to the electrics. He's an all-round nice guy as well. We have an Airbnb flat that needs to be cleaned regularly. We need someone flexible who can work around the check in and out times of the guests. Sometimes this means cleaning at 12pm on a Saturday, or at 9am on a Tuesday depending on the guest. We would prearrange with you a few days in advance and obviously wouldnt expect you to be available every time. The flat is very small so the job would not take long. We'd pay a flat rate of ?25 cash. Sometimes it may only take you an hour. Ideally someone from Peckham who can swing by and clean as required. Call Jessie on 07468244939 or leave recommendations below.

Just had a fab session with Dani AKA Wardrobe Fairy - she came and helped me sort out my mountains of clothes and reorganise my closet. Made the task far less daunting than I thought it would be. I now can see all my lovely clothes and have got rid of all the crap I know I won't wear. Well worth the investment of ?200 for a basic session - as it will actually stop me from spending money buying stuff I already have (again). I've realised I don't actually need new clothes I just needed to be able to find the ones I have! Her website www.wardrobefairy.co.uk 07950263346.

Hi everyone! Just thought I'd share my site to let you know I am local and available if anyone is looking for digital marketing advice or training. I advise and train businesses on how they can find customers online through Social Media Advertising, Google Adwords, Content Strategy, Email and SEO. With my help, you can run smarter digital marketing campaigns, without the need for agencies or senior in-house experience. I am different from a marketing agency because I give your team the tools and training they need to run campaigns themselves, keeping knowledge in-house and making campaigns more dynamic and adaptive. Give me a call on +44 7468244939 or email me to chat about how I can help. www.jessiehealy.com

Help: Recomendation for PPC/google adwords expert
ClaphamMum replied to Fayzar83's topic in Request a Tradesperson
Hi there, I would be able to help! I am an experienced digital marketer who has worked in PPC for the last 9 years. I've worked in-house for the likes of Etsy, RealNetworks and Future Publishing. Currently consult to startups. I am about to go on Maternity leave so this could be a perfect small project for me. I'd also be happy to set it up and then show you the ropes so you can maintain in house, as I strongly believe in the 'teach a man to fish' approach. My Linkedin profile is here: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jessicahealy/ I am Camberwell based. Give me a bell on 07468244939. -
Not sure if you found someone already but I'd highly recommend Sam Payne - he's based in Camberwell and does lovely high-finish work, especially with tricky materials like spanish tiles. We've used him on a few of our renovations now and he's always been really personable and gets the job done beautifully for a fair price. His number is 07732804857. Email [email protected]

Does anyone know of any parents/mums groups in Peckham or Camberwell? I'm thinking there must be a network on Facebook similar to the Streatham Mums network? Preferably of the equal parenting, dads-welcome and multicultural variety, but open to any suggestions for networking with other parents in the area! Thanks for suggestions!

Flooding and council liability question
ClaphamMum replied to ClaphamMum's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Thanks! -
Hey all, Last week during the heavy rain our basement flooded. The reason for this is that the council recently raised the pavement by more than two inches on Southampton Way. This caused our airbricks to be a the level of the pavement instead of above it, meaning that any surface water that collects now flows directly into our basement. Can anyone help suggest how we might go about getting the council to remedy this situation, a situation we wouldnt be in if it wasnt for the work they did on teh pavement. Thanks!

I thought that Veganism by definition was avoiding anything produced by animals, including honey and wool that don't require the animal to die to be produced. I guess it depends how extreme you are.
