I like both phones but out of the 2 options I would go for the HTC M8 but like everyone is saying go have a look at some reviews and see what suits/appeals to you more. Both are great phones either way.

Yes, It is really worth it. You never know what can happen its better to be safe than sorry specially if you are on a contract like the post above me says you still have to keep paying.
