  1. Hi - I am looking for recommendations for someone to fit an extractor fan in my 1st floor bathroom. Many thanks,
  2. Hi - I have a large Leylandii hedge (approx 12 foot tall)that requires a hard prune. Hedge is about 10 metres in length. I would be grateful for any recommendations for someone to quote for the work. Many thanks, Will
  3. I am looking for recommendations for someone to trim and clear clippings of an L-shaped Leylandii hedge (approx 10ft high and 10 metres in length). Many thanks
  4. I would highly recommend VP Removals (Vitek and Peter). They moved us out of our 4 bedroom house in SE19 to Glasgow last weekend - extremely professional and hard working. They took great care packing up our possessions and making sure they didn't scrape any walls etc. Very impressed. Call Vitek (07846 761185)
  5. Can anyone recommend a cleaner / cleaning firm for a 3 hour clean of unfurnished (small) 4-bed house prior to new tenant handover. Thanks
  6. Thanks JDR- Jessie very kindly posted a copy to me.
  7. Does anyone have a copy of the Guardian from Monday of this week that they'd be willing to give me? I've just found out that there's a picture of my daughter in it and I'd like to have a copy to keep. Thanks
  8. Can anyone recommend a fun and relaxed ballet class for my 4 year old, preferably on a Saturday morning? It would have to be quite relaxed in terms of attendance etc. as we wouldn't be able to go every week. Thanks.
  9. I'm looking for someone to re-line some large and heavy curtains. Can anyone help? Thanks
  10. Can anyone recommend a clinic for mole removal?
  11. My wife and I are going to Rome for our anniversary and are looking for recommendations for a hotel near the sights (around the ?100 per night mark). I would be grateful for any suggestions.
  12. That would be nice, but unfortunately not until those six numbers come up! Once again, thanks for the feedback everyone - very useful. Will need to book in some test drives. Another question for you all - previous test drives have always been far too short to form much of an impression - any suggestions for how you can negotiate a bit more time (if only an hour or so!). Thanks
  13. Thanks all for your input - I've had a few VW's (looking to replace a passat estate currently) but have found running costs to be high. Will add the Touran to the test drive schedule!
  14. Have admitted defeat and am looking to purchase an MPV. I gather that this Citroen has won lots of awards but does anyone have any personal experience of this model - positives / negatives? Or does anyone have any recommendations of other MPV's they have owned. Any feedback much appreciated as it is quite an outlay and want to have as much information as possible. Many thanks
  15. Can anyone recommend a good builder to take a look at a large bay window in a 60s house? On the inside the wall below the window is damp. This is bad enough, but I've just heard scratching and have seen a large rat scratching away out there. On investigation it seems that the rat(s) have been going at the brickwork from the outside and if it's not sorted out soon they might get inside, which I can't deal with. I think I need someone to help find a temporary solution to stop the problem getting worse, but I also want the whole thing replaced- brickwork and window. Many thanks in advance for all recommendations- I was sitting watching a movie with the kids and this was not the nicest thing to be faced with!
  16. Called Steve late yesterday - was round first thing this morning, identified issue with washing machine and had parts with him to fix the issue (new pump). Nice guy, very efficient and price seemed very fair. Highly recommended.
