Hello, I would love to join the group too... a kind soul recommended I take a look here after I posted ion another app. I had a baby in May she?s currently 9 weeks old, she joins her brother 9, and sister 7. Id like to join some recommended baby groups, and meet some other mummies/ daddies in the area as I had my other two in oval. I?d like to line up some things for the new baby and I to do from September when the other two are back at school. I?m feeling quite isolated when it?s just me and her. Being a geriatric mummy at the grand old age of 41 I?m finding it harder this time round to find something where we?re both entertained, and walking around the common is great, but it?s starting to wear a bit thin, for both of us I?m sure! Hello, Sadly my cleaner is leaving us after many years. I need to find a new one, I've trialed a few but none have been good enough to keep longterm. I've been very spoilt with a really excellent one for so many years my standards are pretty high! I'm looking for someone who is thorough, fast, reliable and trustworthy, they must come with excellent references. Hello We're going to a wedding this weekend, and all our regular go-tos are busy, or on holiday! Can someone please recommend a reliable babysitter... We have two children, 7 and 5. They are well behaved, and good fun... I really need someone who must have excellent references, reliable, trustworthy, and FUN! Hello I keep posting, but the EDF has just been brilliant at providing me with local information. I've lived in Peckham Rye for a year now, and I've finally got round to trying to sort out some local classes for my children... Hello Can anyone recommend football classes for a 3yr old, and 6yr old, we live in Peckham Rye. I've tired little kickers but we need to join a waiting list, I'd like to put my children's names down on a few waiting lists so they have more of a chance of getting a place. Hello, I know there have been many threads started on this, and I've replied to some people privately with their recommendations already. I am looking for a new cleaner, I really need one that's thorough as I have dust allergies, also important to me is someone that shows initiative in going the extra mile,i.e if s/he sees something needs a bit of tidying, they'll take it on, like the fridge one week, the kitchen cupboard the next etc. I would like someone that takes pride in their work, and isn't there for the hours/pay, which was unfortunately very apparent with my last cleaner who didn't last long with me. I want to walk into my house and be able to see that it's been cleaned. The job is 3 hours a week. I also have many friends, and we all share cleaners, so there's potentially lots of work my way... I must have someone that comes with references that I can check. I'm sure i sound extremely hard-work, but I've had hopeless experiences with bad cleaners, I really hope you can help restore my faith! Thanks Tessa

Hello I've just moved to Peckham Rye from Oval, unfortunately I can't take my cleaner with me as she lives in Walthamstow and it's too far. I had the same cleaner for 5 years, but she left to go into further education, the new one I have is her friend, she's lovely, but her english is really, really bad (I know she has to learn somehow, but I find it really exhausting), and her time keeping is also bad. I need someone that's fast, thorough, trustworthy and reliable. I have 2 small children, a husband and a full time job so the house is a MESS!
