  1. Another 5 star recommendation for No Flies Estate Agents. Tony and Brendan were absolutely brilliant at supporting me through a very stressful, drawn out (not my fault or theirs) transaction. They always gave very clear/informed and grounded advice, responded very quickly to my queries/requests for help, and were hugely supportive throughout the whole thing. Good value for money too. Cannot recommend No Flies highly enough - so much better than any of the other big chain agents in the area.
  2. Another recommendation for Tony and his team. Tony?s done a few jobs for me now including sorting out a damp wall and leak, rebuilding and sorting out a wall path, woodwork and paving. All of his work has been completed on time, communication has been fab and honest and he?s a lovely guy to boot. Highly recommended!
  3. Thanks so much, Lara
  4. Hi everyone We are a group of flatowners looking for recommendations for tradesmen who are able to either repair a garden wall or knock it down and start again. We are also looking for someone who can repair a short pathway and generally do a good job of repairing and refurbing the outside of the property. Any recommendations or suggestions very gratefully received. Many thanks Lara
  5. Another recommendation for Saied!! His communication, work and diligence were all brilliant - turning two very neglected gardens into neat and tidy ones in two days!! Happy to send before and after pics if anyone would like to see. Would have no hesitation in recommneding his work to anyone! A real gem. Lara
  6. Hi guys Hoping someone can help with this. It looks like my flat has some kind of slippage at the front of the house. There is an obvious bump and then dip in the floor in the front bedroom and it looks like this could either be down to poor workmanship when the extension was put in (the difference in floor levels lines up with the bit that has been added) or a subsidence/slippage issue. There is a gap under the skirting board, which has definitely increased and there is also further cracking around the window frame and to the front wall. Would it be a structural engineer that would look at this and if so can anyone recommend someone reliable and trustworthy? Getting a little stressed as this is something the landlord should be investigating but I am being completely and utterly stonewalled by them. If anyone also knows a good residential leasehold solicitor I could be in the market for one of those too. Any help/advice or recommendations, much appreciated.
