Eric Ravilious: Lithography in Britain c.1937-1965 Three Saturdays from 4 to 18 July This course will examine the history of British printmaking from the inter-war period to the modern era. In line with the Gallery?s Eric Ravilious exhibition, we will explore the key developments in lithography and take a special trip to view the Tate?s Prints and Drawings Rooms. With print curator Julia Beaumont?Jones. Saturday 4 July: Participants will meet at Tate at 10.30am. Please meet at the bottom of the steps at the main entrance located on Milbank.

With Artist Rebecca Allen Made in China: Modern Mimicry Five Tuesdays from 23 June to 21 July 10.30am ? 12.30pm ?125 / ?120 Friends & Concs. Coinciding with artist Doug Fishbone?s conceptual project, this course will explore painters who mimic the painting styles of the past in order to create contemporary art today. Take inspiration from the Master Works on display in the Gallery. Learn skills for oil and acrylic painting and develop your own collection of paintings. With Artist Benjamin Senior Prud?hon Re-figured Five Saturdays from 8 July to 15 August 10am ? 1pm ?135 / ?130 Engage creatively with Prud?hon?s drawings as well as the great paintings in the Gallery. Paint compositions inspired by Prud?hon?s work and learn to combine figure drawing and landscape painting. With artist Gareth Cadwallader Made in Dulwich Two Sundays 12 and 19 July 10am ? 3.30 pm ?85 / ?80 Friends & Concs. Study the art of the replica and discover how the great painters learnt their trade through close observation of the works of masters. This short course will help both beginner and advanced artists create ?Master Works?. Learn techniques that will help improve your oil painting skills. With artist Gareth Cadwallader Into the Wild Tuesday 29 ? Thursday 31 July 10.30am ? 4pm ?100, ?95 Friends & Concs Discover the joy of making art outdoors. Brave the elements and spend your days in the wilder areas of Dulwich Park, observing and recording in oil pastel. This course is ideal for those wishing to extend their knowledge of drawing from life, outside of the studio. With artist Liz Charsley ? Jory. A tent will be provided for shelter as necessary and toilets will be within walking distance. Please wear weather appropriate clothing.

Broaden your approach to drawing, study the work of Prud?hon, and work from the model in a variety of scales and media to improve your skills. This course is ideal for those hoping to build a strong portfolio as well as beginners interested in figure drawing.   4. Greetings EDF families, Dulwich Picture Gallery's next MiniMasterpieces programme for adults with babies is fast approaching. We have a few spaces left on Tuesday 13 January from 10:30 - 12:00. Experience the delights of our art collection with your child age 6-18 months. Enjoy an informal, child-friendly gallery visit followed by interactive art sessions tailored for you and your baby.
