Eric Ravilious: Lithography in Britain c.1937-1965 Three Saturdays from 4 to 18 July This course will examine the history of British printmaking from the inter-war period to the modern era. In line with the Gallery?s Eric Ravilious exhibition, we will explore the key developments in lithography and take a special trip to view the Tate?s Prints and Drawings Rooms. With Artist Benjamin Senior Prud?hon Re-figured Five Saturdays from 8 July to 15 August 10am ? 1pm ?135 / ?130 Engage creatively with Prud?hon?s drawings as well as the great paintings in the Gallery. Paint compositions inspired by Prud?hon?s work and learn to combine figure drawing and landscape painting. Study the art of the replica and discover how the great painters learnt their trade through close observation of the works of masters. This short course will help both beginner and advanced artists create ?Master Works?. Learn techniques that will help improve your oil painting skills. Brave the elements and spend your days in the wilder areas of Dulwich Park, observing and recording in oil pastel.
