Hi, we've got a small leak in the silicone seal in our shower cubicle. Can anyone recommend a plumber or decorator who could remove all the existing silicone and replace. I tried doing it myself but just ended up making a mess! Thanks

Hi, recently moved to West Dulwich and have tried both local take always (chadni & indigo), neither of which were anything special. Can anyone recommend any other places to try around East & West dulwich?

I had similar issue last year after going on holiday. Went to GP to have ears cleaned out but they cant do anything until the wax has been softened. Was told to go and buy some olive oil drops form chemist and use these twice a day for 5 days then go back. Went to see the nurse 5 days later and she removed it all. Well worth doing the oil BEFORE you go to see GP as I doubt he will be able to do anything until you have softened it

Hi, have just purchased a new pair of curtains which need altering as they are too long (about 6-7cm). Curtains are just standard "off the shelf" ones from NEXT, with lining. I have already contacted one recommendation received via this forum but unfortunately she is very busy at the moment and cant fit me in for a few weeks. Not an issue for me but the girlfriend is nagging me to get them sorted sooner! I'm based in West Dulwich so looking for someone local, or somebody that does an in-house service Thanks Phil

Hi, im new to the Dulwich area, and this forum, but just wanted to put forward a recommendation for anyone looking for a painter/decorator. We recently used Darren Feltham (who we originally found contact details for on the ED forum) to strip down & restore all the sash windows in our property (including replacing rotten sections), and then repaint. In addition, he also corrected some dodgy wall papering! Price was very reasonable and standard of work above what I was expecting (the windows were in REALLY bad shape when I moved in!) This is my first experience of tradesmen in the local area and I just hope they are all as reliable and skilled as Darren! Cant recommend anyone based on ceiling experience, but we recently moved into a new property in West Dulwich and the sash windows were in terrible condition. We used a chap called Darren Feltham (who I found on this forum) to strip them back to the bare wood, cut out and replace all the rotten parts, and then repaint. Cant recommend him highly enough. The work was done to a very high standard and Darren was friendly, punctual, clean and very competitively priced.
