  1. Our 5 month old kitten Stockwell has gone missing tonight, she is all black with a red collar. If anyone spots her please call 020 82994177. She hasn't been out properly before and doesn't know the area well. She's quite shy and is very missed already.
  2. I think AntiClimax woke up on the wrong side of North Cross Road this morning
  3. I've seen these dogs too, in Peckham Rye Park earlier this week. One looked like a fairly average skinny grey hound, the other was shockingly thin and I could see literally all of the dogs ribs, spine, I don't own dogs and don't know a lot about greyhounds but to my eyes the dog looked very ill and unhealthily skinny...not sure what you should do about it but just thought I'd mention I'd seen it too
  4. Thanks for your help Sniffy. I did in fact do the google thing before resorting to the Forum but to no avail - all boot measurements are given in litre capacity.
  5. I have a massive bike case that measures 115cm x 80cm x 40 cm and I need to know if it will fit in the boot of a Renault Kangoo or Citreon Berlingo. I'm off to Spain this summer, need to book a car and both these vehicles look like they have a promising amount of boot space. If you would mind getting out your tape measure and setting my mind at rest (or not) I would be very grateful!
  6. Hey HeidiHi, why don't you start a thread about the thread police
  7. Without wanting to sound a bit of a techie - watch that the jet spray hasn't pushed out the grease in the headset, bottom bracket and casette etc; otherwise you'll be seizing up! (the bike that is) Bike mechanics in the tour use a mixture of oil and water (bet you didn't that). Not called Sprocket for nothing! Sprocket
  8. Mr Rob "Saw Dog Kennel Hill too but it seemed kind of tatty and worn out (as did a lot of the kids, tbh)" How wrong and misguided you are. DKH is the tops. Great teachers, fantastic head, brilliant, brilliant, brilliant kids - not to mention consistently fab Ofsted reports. Luckily for them though, sounds like you and your offspring live too far away to get in.
  9. what a load of moaning minnies! Northcross Road wouldn't be what it is today without the pioneering spirit of the BM.I say three cheers to Mel(and cut him a little slack all ye who are quick to criticise)for getting the whole thing started in the first place...
  10. Has anyone else felt they could cut the atmosphere with an artist's palette knife whilst browsing through the inkjet paper in Raylon? It might be the abundance of hand written warnings: "pens are for writing not for testing, do not touch the paper, ...or toy with the gouache, no buggies" no state school children; etc. Or the 1950's purchasing protocol - order taken by kindly lady, man hovers down from stockroom (having watched every browsing moment) to take cash and then hand over to third (trainee?) assistant who bags up and escorts you off premises. It makes you actually want to try out the pencil sharpeners.
  11. Always friendly service from Herne Hill bikes opposite Brockwell park. Or try cheekie chappies at Edward's in Camberwell.
