Good afternoon all, any views on how the Peckham Rye festival went last weekend.

Dear forum members. Some of you may or may not know, motorcycle/moped theft is on the increase in and around where you live. The reason for this is so the criminals have access to a pool of stolen vehicles to commit street crime, predominantly robberies of mobile phones from victims using them in the street ,crossing roads and commuting to and from work in the north of the borough. The Peckham Rye SNT would like to alert you all to this, so you can secure your vehicles in better ways at home, commuting and parking up anywhere. This could help reduce the thefts. If you use your phone walking around these areas it is paramount that you remain vigilant as you may be at risk of being a target. Please don?t hesitate to contact the Police with any information if you see any of these crimes occur and could help. Today under operation big wing your local policing team executed a drugs warrant within the peckham rye ward where drugs were seized. for more information regarding these subjects or any intel that can be given to us please attend the ward panel on 3rd march 2016 at 7pm at the Waverley Arms Ivydale Road Peckham.

Residents within SE22 - Peckham Rye LPT with the help of Police Cadets will be posting 600 leafets tonight around areas of Forest Hill Road with extra attention on Mundania Road. A number of doors will be getting knocked on to ask if any residents would like some crime prevention advice. This is solely for information purposes thank you. Making people aware if any residents see any motorcycles/scooters getting loaded or unloaded into a van please call 999 immediately as this a police priority.MAKE SURE YOU TELL THE OPERATOR THE THEFT IS HAPPING NOW TO GET A IMMEDIATE RESPONSE. The thefts seem to be happening from around 22:00-06:00. Please lock your bikes securley to a non removable object or place in agarge if practical.
