Hello East Dulwich Do you have (or know) a 9-14 year old that has ideas and likes making things - and would like to do more? FixCamp will run in Brixton this summer, introducing kids to design and engineering by using new and traditional tools (think 3D printed saws and handmade mallets) to get hands-on making big structures in response to some of the big issues today (well someone has to solve the housing crisis..). We're running 23rd July to 10 August, Monday to Fridays, 9.30am - 3.30pm. We just booked out for the first couple of days but places available over the rest. It's ?50/day, minimum 2 days and we have discounts and bursaries for those who might struggle to reach that. It's at the very well equipped SouthBank UTC in Brixton and we're lucky to be supported by Royal Academy of Engineering. It's our first run so we are VERY EXCITED!
