  1. Yes it is! I will have a look, thank you K
  2. Hi Does anybody know where to hire one of those for one day locally? Thanks
  3. And he asked me and my husband insistently, why would I have wanted to say this otherwise? If he didn't ask you it might be that perhaps he collected enough feedback already for the next ten years... 4. I join all of the above, plus for a tiny little job he insisted we leave good feedback on the forum. He was really insisting, that's why I suppose he gets all the positive feedback here.
  5. Just wonder if anybody has ever used Thames Plumbers, based in E14 Isle of Dogs? If so, are they reliable and is it normal to ask for a deposit for changing and installing an electric boiler? Thanks! Klarita
  6. Last night for my wedding anniversary I finally went to Sorsi & Morsi (I wanted to go when first opened but was on holiday) and I found both food and service really excellent (pizza with fried aubergines and salted ricotta was delicious and very full filling). I will definitely be back. At my slight criticism about the lack of comfortable tables and chairs I was reassured that they are working at it and will change the current tables with benches soon as well as enclosing and put heating in the back garden to be used in the winter months too for the customers who wish to do so, and being a smoker I probably will. I wish the owners and the staff all the best with this venture. 7. London and County all the way, they are great and don't take fee as it comes from the bank.
  8. I join in for this feedback! I called only yesterday for a small job, and Al was able to send Dave immediately this morning. He was punctual and professional and assembled a kitchen cabinet very quickly, perfectly on time for me to go to work. Will definitely use this company again, very reliable and reasonably priced. Klarita
  9. Sorry I missed this Alex, I hope it went well. Can you and mlteenie contact me asap? I also sent you both a PM. Klarita
  10. Yes please guys, put an experimental event on in ED tho! It's what the music scene lacks here. I could also help you with but although at present I am far too busy ...if you like contact me for support, advise and everything else! Best luck Klarita Kaparte Promotions alexsiddall Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Hi all, > > Is anyone interested in a second meeting next > week? 11. Many of you might know that the Ivy House in Peckham Rye has been closed down few months ago. Apparently there has been an interest from various managers to take it over and the leaseholders group Enterprise are hoping to have the pub/venue re-opened soon, and so do we living nearby.. In order to help with the improvement of the 'new' Ivy House a member of the community here, Hugo, has came up with a questionnaire, that will hopefully help the new management to make the right choices, accordingly to our wishes. If you don't mind taking the time to fill it, it'd be interesting to see you ED forumites opinions and suggestions? You can either answer here or send it via PM, I will then forward it to the people concerned. Thanks in advance! Have you been to The Ivy House before? Have you been to The Ivy House for other events other than comedy? Have you ever been to The Ivy House just to have a drink? How often? How aware are you of The Ivy House's reputation as a live music venue of note in the late sixties and early/mid seventies, when it was known as The Newlands Tavern? Is The Ivy House the nearest pub to your house? Have you ever been there (how often?) If not, why not? Does the pub feel inviting from the outside? (Briefly explain) Does the pub feel inviting inside? (Briefly explain) What changes would make you more likely to use the pub?
  12. "Renegade, The Lives and Tales of Mark E Smith". Brilliant, humorous, cruel and honest! gallinello Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I've just finished 'The Damned United'- David > Peace. > An excellent read; depressing and gripping in > equal measure. > Thoroughly recommend it.
