  1. Hello! Our Mother's Day market will be open till Tuesday night! You could say how much you love your mother with a selection of rose kombucha, cinnamon bun, chocolate cookie, some honey and jam , redcurrant syrup for delicious cocktails or desserts or with a meal made of extra fresh veg and meat. We have now launched 'Scrummies Fine Foods' offering a variety of free range dairy products from Kent and Sussex, including a tempting selection of cheeses, milk, yoghurt and cream. We'll have some for you to taste next time. To place an order, clic here: https://thefoodassembly.com/en/assemblies/49 We look forward to seeing you soon. Audrey & Vincent
  2. Hi! The new sale is open; we suggest you to try: - A Very Nice Idea's new flatbread, that you can order separately but you will save when you buy the falafel or curry and flatbread kits together. - Brambletye's special offer: save when you order apples and pears or apples and eggs. Very interesting is the tray of 30 eggs: if it's too much for you, think to share it! But did you know that you can keep them up to 3 weeks? - Emma is back with her excellent jams, chutney's and infused sugars. If you have missed them for pancake's day, try them now or be patient. She will be back in 2 weeks. - We also highly recommend Elephant Bakehouse cinnamon buns topped with lemon icing. We have had one every Friday Morning since we first tried them! You can also be a brewer the 21st February thanks to Clarkshaw's brewery based in Brixton. Lucy and Ian will teach you the art of brewing. Most interesting! Book your place now! The market will be open till Wednesday 17th 2am! for collection on Thursday at the All Inn One pub from 5:30 to 7:00. Audrey & Vincent

  14. Hi, I am Audrey and the host of the Forest Hill Food Assembly, that means that I organise the weekly collections (and as I earn 8% of the turnover; I don't consider it as a profession, almost volunteering to get good food). Just to give more info to this discussion: our furthest producer (the meat producer) lives 49 miles away. And our average sourcing is 27 miles, because most of our producers come from London. Here is the link to see on a map where all producers come from: https://thefoodassembly.com/en/assemblies/49/farms And we always do our best to find producers who match these to points: local production and high quality. Hope this can help understand what the Forest Hill Food Assembly and other Food Assemblies really are. Kind Regards, Audrey Bouttier [email protected]
  15. What is the Forest Hill Food Assembly? It is 14 local producers, 2 hosts, almost 800 members and more than 150 fresh, local and organic products on offer every week. It is a new way to buy direct from local producers via a web platform and pay at a fair price. It is also a new way to meet other friendly people from your neighbourhood. We gather every Thursday from 5:30 to 7:30 for the collection in front of the Railway Telegraph pub. We encourage mutual aid between friends and neighbours, we also support other local initiatives as much as possible. Onthemunch is a home delivery service that you can call if you want your basket to be delivered (07961911673) Give us a try if you haven't placed an order yet! The market is open until every Tuesday night! https://thefoodassembly.com/en/assemblies/49
