  3. Anyone got any ideas where my desperate Liverpool support husband can take our 7 and 9 year old to to watch the game that won't be too rowdy. Many thanks everyone.

  5. Does anyone know of an afterschool art club for 5-10 year olds? I've tried art-tastic but they only do specific school and are not open to kids from other schools. Many thanks.
  6. Well, anyone out there have any ideas? We're looking for something not too far away so we can get back to our lovely families in the evening. We know about the santuary so any other ideas would be most welcome. Thank you
  7. Thanks for all your ideas, some really good ones. My husband has just pointed out that it's a pretty cool brithday as he will always have his parents off work! If I held a party in the summer should it be the summer before or after his brithday? any thoughts?
  8. My boy will be 2 on boxing day and last year we made an effort for his 1st birthday but that experience has taught me that there is only so much, cake, enthusiam and presents one family can withstand two days on the trot. What am I going to do in the years to come...any suggestions?
  9. When my little boy was born I would cry everytime I heard Tom Baxter's "better", it just said it all. Check it out on youtube sorry I don't know how to do a direct link. I put a DVD in his baby book as it meant so much to me.. "the more I talk to you....I fall in love with everything you do..." says it all, makes me tearful even now, he's now an energetic 3 year old. Love all the songs suggested so far.
  10. Did anyone read about the 10 year old girl who died this morning walking to school. A lorry killed her on the cross roads at East Dulwich Road and Peckham Rye, I was in the diversion this morning but didn't realise it was due to an accident. The lorry driver has been arrested for suspected dangerous driving. God love her and prayers to her poor parents. Duplicate of this thread - The Administrator
  11. Hi all, thanks for the replies. This thread isn't a wind up, I'm from out of the area and don't really know. I did not mean to offend or upset and yes we have children and as it is a massive outlay for us in what is a recession we wanted to get views from you guys who are in the know before we buy. I see this is a delicate subject but it looks like Court Lane has it pipped by the responses.
  12. We're buying a house and wondered what people thought was the better road, Court lane or Woodwarde? Any thoughts?
