  1. Having replaced our windows, these are now surplus if useful to anyone - 18 weights altogether (9 pairs) Free to collect from Bellenden Road. Various lengths / weights. But all need to go together, afraid can't split. These are HEAVY...
  2. Hi, did you find someone? We have one in our loft I need removing - can you now recommend anyone?
  3. Er, thanks for the analogy, and no. But while I was at the petrol station I would also pump up my tires if they needed it. And the lights were also on for no toner...
  4. Hi, The LED indicates it's got a paper jam. I thought it was a toner issue, so I replaced all those, but I'm still getting this error, so it won't pick up paper or print. Annoying as just spent a load all new ink and it seems a shame to throw it out, when it could be something simple..! ulwich handy Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > What's the issue ?
  5. Hi, wondering if anyone has used anyone locally to fix a laser printer? It?s only a home model, so might not be worth fixing, but worth finding out... any recommendations appreciated. Thanks
  6. Today my faith in humanity has been restored. A huge thanks to ?creatureCare? aka Kelly and her husband who found my tool roll locally. And for anyone that stumbles across this thread and has lost something, have faith that you may get it back, there are good people in this world. Equally if you find something, please do what you can to return it, it maybe more important to someone than you think and that karma may well come back to you some when too.
  7. On Tuesday evening I lost my Tool Roll (see pic) it's a wax cotton tool roll made by Cotter Pin full of my motorcycle tools. It came off my motorbike somewhere between Wapping and Peckham so on the off chance it was local I thought I'd post on here. It was a gift from my partner and has lost of tools for my bike in it and is not only super useful but is of great sentimental value so if someone did find it I'd be very very grateful for its safe return. There's aways a chance a decent person found it?! Thanks.
  8. Thanks Scott, I kinda need somewhere I can take it in. For example one of the catches has fallen apart, I have all the bits, but the life of me can't fit it back together!
  9. I have 2x Bosch Jigsaws, the motors are fine, but the plastic bits that hold the blades in are broken - any recommendations of anyone or local business I can take these to to get them fixed? Thanks Steve
  10. Hi, My partner and I have recently adopted an American Bulldog cross from Battersea and after being let down by a couple of local firms we are in need of a dog sitter / walker this weekend. We don't need cover all weekend, but a few times Fri - Monday as I am away and my partner has certain work commitments. He's very mellow and good with other dogs and children alike, however he is big and can be strong on the lead (mainly around cats!) Please let me know if you are interested or have any recommendations. I can then detail exact times dates we need. Thanks
  11. Hi, I'd like a recommendation for someone for some external works. Basically we have an area of the garden outside a building that floods, so I need a pump putting in, then some drainage and then a small brick patio laying over the top. Know someone that could do that?! Please let me know. Thanks Steve
  12. Hi, My partner and I have a place we rent privately, here's the link. PM to discuss if you're interested. http://www.ownersdirect.co.uk/franceb/FR17207.htm Thanks Steve
  13. Hi, I'm looking for a mortgage broker to help with organising a Buy To Let mortgage for me. Any suggestions / recommendations? Thanks
