I just wanted to recommend an excellent damp proofer Dave Plastercare: 07932505589 He is local to East Dulwich and very experienced. He came round at very short notice and identified the problem quickly (we have had other damp specialists, many of which were also on this forum, round who have ummed and arghed and not really been able to suggest much beyond patching up work which hasn't solved the problem) offered a great price and all in all very helpful.

Hello I'm organising my daughters combined first birthday party and naming ceremony celebration. I have left it to the last minute and am desperately seeking venue recommendations. Hello We are in the throws of building work, having our side return done. I naively thought I could live through the build, with my 9.5month year old daughter, but the reality is quite different. I am keen to be close by so my daughter can still go to her usual playgroups and also so I can pop in and check on the builders. Does anyone have any space to rent on a short term basis in the area? We will be out by Christmas or could be out a bit earlier, say at the start of December if that works better. Please get in touch if you do. Thank you
