My son is nearly 4 & needs a new bike. He has a spiderman one from Halfords that I bought last summer but its too small for him now. Can anyone recommend a good bike & one that he'll be able to use for more than a year. I'm a bit lost when it comes to bikes.

Here's me thinking we were on our own.... Firstly Merry Christmas to everyone. My son is just under 2.5yrs & has always been a great sleeper until he turned 2. It takes him at least hour-1.5 every night to go to sleep sometimes not until 10pm which you can imagine is extremely exhausting. He's active, eats well but just won't go to bed then us restless throughout the night waking several times. The only thing that works is if I sit by his cot but sometimes that can go on for 30mins+. Some have told me it might be his molars or as he still has a small daytime nap usually an hour? Any help would be great from a very tired mummy.

Had a Sleepyhead for my son & was the best baby accessory I could have purchased. He slept in it every night until he was around 6months old, he hated his moses basket so Sleepyhead was essential. So nice to put the baby in the Sleepyhead in the bed with you too as I was a bit nervous about co-sleepibg but felt really comfortable with the sleepyhead. I don't know anyone whos baby hasn't like it.

Recommending my great plumber Garry Johnson who I have used for the last few years now after finding him on this forum. Another excellent job, always been on time & really knows his stuff.

I know it's early but can anyone recommend a wha good Santa's Grotto to take my then 16month old? Someone suggested Westfields, I thought about Harrods but when I had a look it said something about invitation only but not sure if I was looking at the right part. He has been very upset since his jabs last week, very clingy & whingey. It's been a very stressful week. Did you find that with your children?

Thanks Lula they are very kinds words & I think definitely as a 1st time mum things seems so daunting sometimes....I'm getting there slowly but surely I hope. Maybe by baby no. 3 I might have the knack of it lol Again appreciate all the advice

Also why I'm here any advice on best places to get shoes, Clarks were ok but didn't think they had much choice for boys.....if he ever lets me get him a pair that is lol

Thank you so much for your advice I really appreciate it & will definitely take it all on board. Maybe it's just me but everything seems so much stressful once you have a child doesn't it? Or is it just me. I took my donto get measured for shoes today at Clarks, came back with no shoes he went berserk in there wouldn't let the lady put it on his foot I was SO embarrassed.

Just wondered if anyone had advice on the best age to take my baby abroad? Well I say baby, he has just turned 1 & now walking. We were thinking of going late September maybe Majorca but not sure if we should wait until next year when he's able to do more? Are we just wasting money going this year? & In your experiences how have littles ones been on planes as I can't think of anything worse than stuck on a plane for 2 hours while he's screaming his head of lol

Thanks for making me feel normal, it's so scary as soon as he makes any noise I'm ready to get him out of the highchair I think I'm driving daddy mad lol We just tried him with some well cooked brocoli florets as finger food, no interest in eating them whatsoever just crushing them in his hands waiting to be spoon fed. Thanks so much for the advice. I think I will try a bit of both now & see how it goes. I know it's sounds silly but I'm just scared of choking with finger foods or does every mum feel that way? Please say they do & it's not me being a crazy mum lol
