Yes it has been driving me mad since early December lilac cruiser. I eventually identified it as a neighbours car and told them nearly two weeks ago. It seems to have stopped since about Thursday so hopefully they have had it fixed. Its a sensor in cars that can be triggered by very cold weather - thus it going off at 2-5am!!!

Helen, Steve and the team at Gardenia have just finished remodelling the end of our garden including loads of new raised beds, a patio, seating and a deck. The whole job is brilliant and looks amazing. Helen also advised on what planting to put where and helped getting it. They also added a bespoke wooden bike shed to our front off street parking space (no mean feat in East dulwich) it looks great and is a solid structure that will last. All in all they are a lovely bunch of people, reliable and trustworthy. We cant recommend them enough.

Just to feedback, we ended up going to Folkestone for the day which was lovely. Great restaurants on the harbour arm (including a champagne bar at the end!) we also went to the Smokehouse for excellent fish and chips and had seafood snacks from the local vans.

It took us 1hr 20 to get there but we did leave at 730 in the morning.

Word of warning, its worth checking the tide times as when the tide comes in the sandy beach goes, which it did between 1230 and 230pm on Sunday

Looked at Margate by train this weekend but there are rail works which mean lots of changes according to Southeastern rail and replacement bus.

I have heard good things about Godstone farm and Bockett Farm. Anyone have any feedback on these or anywhere else about an hours drive from ED for a good family halfterm day out (with 4 yr old boy)

Thought you family room people may have some experience with this. Looking for any recommendations for someone to build a secure solid wooden (ideally) bike shed for our front garden. We park the car on the drive so its a tight spot. It would need to hold 2-3 bikes. There is a compnay who make them called Dulwich green (with green roofs) but dont think they are stil in operation?

Any tips appreciated
