The centre for wildlife gardening on Marsden Rd, east dulwich needs volunteers on Sundays. A range of gardening activities and help with dispalys and maintenance for those with less green finers. it is a community garden run by the London wildlife Trust. it is in my opinion one of the best things about East Dulwich, and there are many.. Centre is open 10-4 and there are often events on that need people to help out with. If you are looking for more physical work, sydenham Hill woods has volunteer sundays every second week. The woods are amazing and the management is done almost solely by volunteers, a really fab example that community spirit DOES exist, even in SE London!
