  1. Walking the dog this morning, large section near Cox's Walk cordoned off, forensics teams and lots of police.
  2. I've found both uber eats & deliveroo very unreliable during lockdown. Drivers are doing 2/3 orders at a time, so if you're the last one, invariably it's late and cold by the time it gets to you.
  3. I saw that KidKruger, absolutely no excuse for that.
  4. RachP, the idealist in me would love to see people taking their rubbish home, but obviously that is not happening so I think a more practical solution is needed! I suggested the same to Southwark council on Twitter, who gave me a sarcastic response, which obviously was not helpful!
  5. Completely agree with SnakeFilth. A whinge on a forum is not going to make people (the majority of whom do not read the forum) take their rubbish home. Bigger/more Bins, or more regular litter collections is something that would actually work.

I don't understand the attitude that it is wrong to employ someone to help keep a park tidy. Swings and roundabouts.
  7. RachP, I completely agree about the council. The vast majority of people are at least polite enough to bag up their rubbish and put it by the bins. It's not the public's fault that the bins are not emptied regularly enough, or that there are not enough of them. Surely this is the sort of thing we pay council tax for, but they seem to get off scott free on this sort of issue.
  8. Hi, Can anyone recommend a good driving instructor in the area please? Thanks
  9. Saw this on the box the other day, so did get me wondering it this was it! However, the filming I saw was a young black woman in an expensive car, park opposite the co-op. Will keep an eye for it.
  10. NatWest card ending 8839 found neat Goose Green, name Miss Sara Phillips. Get in contact if it's yours. Will destroy after 24 hours if no one claims it.
  11. Anyone know what's being filmed there at the moment? It's an extremely professional setup!
  12. Car accident corner of LL and CPR, LL closed both ways at the moment. Just FYI if anyone was thinking of a late night drive.
  13. Seems a bit weird to celebrate it after moving over here then, doesn't it.
  14. We had a huge bundle delivered last week, some things I'd been waiting weeks for.
  15. Buses are going up lordship lane around the Sainsbury's, but can't say for GG area
  16. You should get a "price rise" email or DM every year informing you of a ?3.49+ price hike for your service. The terms of this include the fact you can cancel your contract qsap at no cost. When you get the email, phone them, say you want to cancel, and they will generally put you on the introductory rate for a year. Rinse and repeat every year.
  17. Any luck? I am near GG too, and had no internet before I left for work this morning.
  18. Im hoping it was sucked back in, but i thought id make a post here anyway even if the chances are slim! I left money in the lordship lane coop cash machibe this evening... Twice. The first time it was ?130, and the second time ?50. I would obviously love to get this back if anyone picked it up! Thanks
  19. Hi, I noticed some racist grafitti has been scrawled on goose green bus stop (the one outside Cafe Nero). Who can I report this to to get it covered up? Thanks
