  1. SUP will likely be in the next Olympics and I wondered about me representing team GB doing that? I have a SUP, a good quality carry bag for it, a high-tensile lightweight carbon fibre paddle, and a good quality wetsuit. What are my chances? I’m planning to take it out soon on the Thames Estuary near Erith to try it out.

  2. Ah ok, so you’re saying I need to be underneath something like a table when I do the underwriting? That makes sense. Must be why they get paid so much - they’re managing the risks of working in a confined under space.

  3. There were big queues at the gelateria this weekend and then one guy jumped in front of me in the queue! Anyway, just realised the bacio flavour is the same as Baci chocolates!

  4. Has anyone been shopping in Pound Land on LL? Just wondering what your thoughts are? I might give it a whirl next time I need some Viakal limescale remover.

  5. We’l be getting our annual building work done soon (roof ridge tiles redone and the chimney stacks repointed). Mrs Bob says she’ll liaise with the builders and that I should get out from the house so I don’t bother them with inanities. So I’ll be off camping to the Fort again for the Summer - June, July, August, whilst they get on with it. I’ll be in my Decathlon Arpenaz 4.1 fresh and black tent. I’ll have a campfire every Friday night like I usually do.

  6. I normally vote Lib Dem so I don’t want to vote Reform. I’m a liberal European internationalist (mostly) vegetarian inclusive ethical person.

I expect Reform will end all this nonsense about segregating waste, bagging dog poo.  Your neighbour will have quite a few parts of the country that they can move to without all this tut-tutting.

Yes, what is Reform’s populist position on managing home food waste?

The council does not really lead by example…. I saw a collection on Rye Lane where everything was put together! Ok, it’s food traders rubbish so not everything will be clean enough to be recycled blah blah blah but still…. Food scraps, wooden pallet, plastic crates and cardboard boxes were crushed together in the general bin lorry …😠

Rye Lane is Peckham Rye not East Dulwich, so most likely not relevant here. It depends where you draw your boundaries.
