  1. Also interested in your rates. I have a cat and 3 chickens that will need a house sitter for 2 weeks in September.
  2. @hellsbelly, My Apologies for such a late reply. I did find someone, through a family member, who doesn't live locally. He did it as a favour for us as we were a bit stuck and on a tight budget. Unfortunately he's not looking to take on any more extra work otherwise i'd share his details as he is excellent. As a guide, I had a few quotes from electricians through checkatrade etc and most came in around £3k and up! Some of them were telling me that I would HAVE to bury the cable which obviously adds a days digging labour on. Currently we just run it down the fence. Another large cost is the armoured cable. We opted for an armoured cable without an earth in it as it was much cheaper as it has 50m less cable in it. My guy has then earthed it to the ground using a copper Rod. All in we hit £1.5k. 4 days @ £250 a day labour + £500 for all the parts (armoured cable, switches, 10 double sockets, Consumer units etc). All tested and certificate provided. Hope you get yours sorted, if you have any more questions I'll try and reply a little faster this time! Thank you L
  3. Looking for a good electrician to set up a sub mains off of the existing Consumer unit to an outbuilding approx 25m away, If anyone has recommendations from recent renovations? or if you are a local electrician reading this great! Can pay cash. Happy for work to be completed in evenings and weekends.
  4. I'm awaiting about 6 parcels that should have been here last week. Copleston Road. Haven't seen my usual postman on his rounds either. So assumed he's off ill. However, these parcels should come with a man in a van and wouldn't be part of his rounds. These guys must be super busy!
  5. COPLESTON ROAD We had 2 good sheets of safety glass approx 60cm square that were saved for us by a repair team working on the flat above us. Someone this morning has decided to help themselves to them from our front garden. We're planning on using them, and would really like them back as they're original to the property and we have a couple of broken ones to replace. Thank you.
  6. We recently bought a house on the Dulwich side of Peckham through Acorn Estate Agents and found it to be an absolute nightmare. They told all sorts of fibs, and didn't do things by the book, so I can recommend avoiding them.
  7. UPDATED* Reward of ?50 if found and returned unharmed :)
  8. On Sunday at about 11pm on Avondale Rise & Coplestone Road crossing a lady was approached by a man with a knive on a moped demanding her mobile phone. She was walking home and was close to her front door. She also screamed very loudly and a lot of us came out to her aid. Lots of great caring neighbours round here.
  9. Recently cycling home at night and my fairweather green bag has fallen off my bike. It's made of olive green ripstop material, with black buckles at each end, and has a mad ein Japan label on it. Bought while travelling in Japan, i'd really like it back, it's all stuff I use every day so am missing it dearly. Inside it has some smelly and sweaty cycling gear. It's all stuff I use every day so would appreciate getting it back. 1 x Rapha Randonnee shorts, Black. 1 x Rapha core bib shorts, Black/White 1 x DONE London wavvy print t shirt, Black. So if anyone see's or smells a stray bag around Rye Lane, Chadwick Road, Bellenden Rd give me a shout! 077363095789 Stay Rad x
