I?d like to get a house name sign made - in wood, painted white, with the house name stencilled on. Etsy/notonthehighstreet make wooden signs but not to the exact dimensions I need. Would anyone local be able to quote for this? Many thanks Laura

Hi there The welcome meeting is 9.30-10.30 on Wed 7 June and the summer picnic is 12-1pm on Fri 16 June if that helps (it says 12.30-1.30 on the calendar on the school website but we've just done a poster for it so 12-1 should be right!). If you call the school reception on Monday, they should be able to give more info about the enrolment dates - usually better to call than email I find. Good luck! Laura

I have been having refresher driving lessons with Nick from www.nicholasdrivingacademy.co.uk after seeing the recommendation on this thread, and it's been really worthwhile. I hadn't driven much since passing my test and was nervous about driving in London with the added stress of my kids screeching in the back. Nick is happy to do the lessons in your own car if you've already passed your test, which I don't think any of the big driving schools do. He also knows the area really well so has been able to tailor the lessons for me, getting me comfortable with all the routes I need to do, showing me shortcuts, easy places to park etc. Nick has a really nice relaxed manner, I'd definitely recommend him for anyone who needs to get their driving confidence back. Dr Adam Fox at St Thomas' is brilliant, one of the best paediatric allergy specialists in the country - I think he sees patients privately at the Portland. I paid for a private appointment with him for my 7 month old son (less than a week's wait and worth every penny to get a clear diagnosis and action plan as we were having a nightmare weaning my son). Once the NHS appointment came through, my son then saw Dr Fox every year on the NHS at St Thomas' until he outgrew his allergy. Good luck and hope you get a diagnosis soon.
