I am aware the Judith Kerr Primary is a relatively new school, which can be both an advantage and a disadvantage. Given that my child is already 8, and we actually moved here from abroad to Dulwich in particular because of the JKPS (at least initially - to help with the decision, as we do speak German), I was wondering if there are other parents in the forum which have a child there (or friends with children) that attend one of the higher age groups? Or, alternatively, what is the general impression of the school these days? I browsed the forum and I am getting mixed feedback ;)

That sounds good, we'll have Hornimans Museum on our list and have already noticed the many parks around here :)

Hello there, I mainly signed up for in order to find a babysitter, but now that I am here thought it can't hurt to post another message also in the discussion room. I, 29, and my daughter, 8, just moved to Dulwich after having lived in Berlin and Boston these past years. The school registration has been a surprisingly slow process and even though sooner or later she'll surely make friends, I was wondering if anyone else has a 7+ year old at home who would be interested in a new play-mate, basically as of right now; my daughter is pretty bored just hanging out with adults for weeks :) We also don't know the area very well yet, so we would be happy to read some older-kid-friendly recommendations for what to do around here, especially tomorrow.
