Thanks Mugglesworth. Can be a bit isolated as difficult to understand unless you're in a similar situation. Would love to share experiences with parents of girls of any age, not just teenagers. Anybody out there?!

I have a 13 year old daughter with ASD. She would love to make new friends but finds it very difficult, especially now she's a teenager. I'm also feeling isolated as although I know people with boys on the spectrum, they tend to present with very different issues to girls. I was wondering if there were any other parents in the area who are in a similar situation. We could meet up informally for a coffee to start with and perhaps manufacture some social situations for our daughters! Please PM me if you're interested
