  1. I am looking for someone to help build a breakfast bar / high table!

I have all the materials (wood, biscuit joints) but not the tools!

I need someone to cut the wood down to size for me and then join it together.

It's not a complex design - just 4 bits of wood that will form it (two panels on each side, one panel across the middle between the two sides, and the worktop to go on top of them).

    thanks!

  2. Dave is absolutely wonderful!!

He is so quick to respond and turns up exactly when he says he will!

He did some bits around the house for me, but also was so responsive when I had a problem with a leak under my bath caused by a previous plumber. I would not hesitate to recommend Dave and will definitely be calling on him in the future.

He is reasonably priced, respectful and does an excellent job - even when having to rescue someone else's mess!

  3. Would you like to contribute to scientific research?

I'm a local to East Dulwich and a PhD student at King's College London, and have just begun an online survey study as part of my research that aims to better understand the impact of mind wandering and the extent to which it affects peoples? lives. Further details of the survey are below and the full Information Sheet is attached and can be accessed by clicking on the survey link.

Anyone over the age of 16 years can complete it, and it takes around 10 - 15 minutes.

Complete our online survey to help us understand the relationship between Creativity, Occupation, Mind wandering, and Education (COME-on!!)

We would like to invite you to complete an online survey investigating if mind wandering can lead to differences in our experiences of education, occupation, and creativity. Everyone?s mind wanders, but we all do it to a different degree, so what is its impact? For some it may be useful and lead to creativity or working in a certain profession. For others it may have a negative effect, perhaps making it difficult to learn at school. Severe mind wandering that just won?t seem to stop and feels uncontrollable could also be associated with disorders such as attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). By exploring the relationship between these things we can better understand the impact of mind wandering and the extent to which it affects peoples? lives.

There is also the chance to win one of five ?50 Amazon vouchers when you complete the survey.

Full information for this study can be found at the link below which will also take you to the full survey. If you would like to be e-mailed the information sheet, please use the contact details below.
