  2. A reward is on offer if anyone knows anything Hi My friend's lovingly refurbished Fiat 500L was stolen from Frankfurt Road on 27th June. Full details attached. Any help appreciated Alfy
  3. Do you frequent baby and toddler groups, cafes in and around SE22, do the drop off and pick up at nursery, kindergarten or infant or junior school? I need some parents to hand out / leave in strategic places some flyers for my newly launched website, www.childrensseconds.com. If you are interested I'll pay ?8 per 250 flyers you get out there. All you need to do is email [email protected] and tell me the following - (a) Your address (b) Approx how many you need © Where they will go (e.g. 50 for school run at Goodrich or 15 for diddi dance in Church hall or 20 for cafes in SE22) I will drop them off at a time convenient for us both and as soon as you have completed them I'll pay you cash or transfer via paypal/bank transfer. I don't want door to door as this is a waste of card, time and effort. All the best Alfy
  4. Hi I run a website that you could sell the items on. It is free and quick and easy to use with none of the form filling entailed with eBay. I have just launched it and am promoting now so you may get some interest if you put an advert up now. The Site is called www.childrensseconds.com. If you wanted to donate to charity you could always give some of the proceeds to charity once you sell the items. The refuge centre off Barry road is another good place to give stuff, I often take items I cannot sell such as car seats and they are always very grateful. If you have any questions please contact me. All best Alfy
  5. Thanks for suggestions Alfy
  6. No good idea, I've asked a friend who does this market if she thinks it would suit. My concern was that a lot of my stuff is High Street Branded clothing and toys which might not appeal to the people who run this market. Thanks for the suggestion. All best Alfy
  7. Hi I sell second hand children's items, everything from clothing to bikes to furniture, on behalf of people who do not have time to do it themselves through ebay, EDF, Gumtree etc. As my name is getting round I'm getting more and more stock, too much to showcase through my website, and was considering setting up a regular stall at a market. I just wondered if anyone uses, or has used, a market for used children's items and if they would recommend one? Ideally it would be in our area but would consider anywhere within reason. I'd be grateful for any advice, tips. Thanks very much. Alfy
  8. Thanks very much both of you, that is a great help. All the best Alfy
  9. Hi I sell used children's items on behalf of people who don't have time to use eBay, Gumtree, EDF etc themselves. I have mainly stuck to higher end, more expensive clothing but am getting numerous requests to sell lower priced kid's clothing which I would have to bundle up. Could anyone give me some advice as to how these bundles should be put together? I assume same age and sex is a prerequisite? Does it need to be the same brand too? How many items approx per bundle? What sort of mix of clothing should it be? (I'm assuming all summer stuff together, winter stuff together etc) What would you expect to pay for a standard High St label clothing bundle? Any other tips would be appreciated before I start selling this stuff. Thanks Alfy
