  1. Hi folks Monday 19th will be the last session at Herne Hill United Church SE24 9PW. From November 2nd we will be at Holy Trinity Church, Trinity Rise SW2 2QP It is the second street on your right off Norwood Road after Brockwell Park and has free parking on site and adjoining streets. Same time 10.30-11.15am ?6 per family/?4 unwaged family I'm looking forward to being close to the park and not having to climb that steep hill every Monday.   2. Hello, we lost all our wardens in Lambeth "due to cuts" even though Derek Anderson Lambeth eader retained his ?250.000 per year. I now walk drive my dog to Peckham Rye. Nice park and great cafe. Sorry you had a bad experience but generally I find the dogs and owners courteous xx
  3. Hello Lucy, I have released a cd of my original songs that is very popular with little ones and parents too. It's called The "Naughtiest Kitten in the World" and has songs about Kangaroos, kittens and bunnies and a spanish song too.   4. Hello, I host Ruby Rhymes, a drop-in music and movement class for babies and young children, every Monday 10.30am @ Herne Hill United Church, Corner of Redpost Hill and Herne Hill SE24. I've been running this class for 4 years and there's always a nice mix of friendly regular and new parents, carers and children. The children and adults sing dance and play percussion along to a mix of traditional and original songs Each session runs for 50 minutes which includes an organic juice and biccy break. No enrolment is required. Cost is ?5 per family or ?3 unwaged families which you pay at the end of class. Kind regards, Jane Ruby
  5. Hello, I have been running music classes for parents/carers with babies and young children in Herne hill since 2005. The sessions are held on Monday mornings at 10.30am and no enrolment is necessary. The classes are friendly and informal and last 50 minutes which includes an organic juice and biccy break which gives the grown-ups an opportunity to chat and make new friends. The drop-in nature ensures a mix of regulars and new faces. the venue is Herne Hill United Church at the top of Red Post Hill SE24. There is a free carpark.   7. Hello and Happy New Year, Ruby Rhymes is starting up again this week. The sessions are friendly and informal and there is no need to enrol, just turn up! Come along with your baby or little one and meet the other mums, dads and carers for a mix of singing, dancing, socializing and fun. Nearest class for Dulwich folk is Monday 10.30am at Herne Hill United Church at the top of Red Post Hill, SE24 there is a small carpark and free parking in adjacent streets.   11. Everything is fine at Vauxhall City Farm. Lambeth inspected last week and the farm passed the hygeine and safety test. I have been running classes at the farm with under fives for 9 years and we have had no problems. We pet the animals and ensure that we all wash our hands at the sinks provided. Please don't be put off visiting city farms in future. Just remember to wash your hands.

Vauxhall City Farm Tyers Street, Off Kennington Lane, London, SE11 5JE Telephone: 020 7582 4204 All year Wed - Sun 10.30-16.00 Vauxhall farm is absolutely wonderful with lot's of gorgeous animals to see such as alpacas, goats, cows, guinea pigs, ferrets and many more. It's free but a donation is always welcome to help feed those hungry animals. To avoid the congestion charge, turn left into Windmill Row off Kennington Road, then left again into Kennington lane and park in Tesco's for a free two hours. Turn left out of Tesco's entrance and the farm is on the right 5 minute's walk away. Vauxhall station is close by. afterwards you might like to visit Bonnington Square and check out the community gardens and playgrounds. there is a fabulous Italian Deli and Cafe and also a veggie cafe in the square. On Fridays at the farm Ruby Rhymes-Drop in music is on at 10.30am for parents and babies-toddlers up to 5 years old. ?5/?3 per family. www.rubyrhymes.co.uk

Ruby Rhymes is a uniquely welcoming and stimulating music class for both babies, and toddlers aged up to 5 years, with their parents or carers. The 50-minute drop-in classes are run by Jane Ruby, a local singer, song-writer, musician and community music teacher.
