CPZ: Proposed Controlled Parking in East Dulwich
bilksy replied to dulwichresident01's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Totally against the CPZ to East Dulwich. It?s a joke how much it costs and even to have a friend or family member over to stay. ?25 per day. What a joke! If all the demands came from the area around the station then why not enforce it there for a couple hours mid morning So people want more spaces and they are going to put 2 meter lines either side of dipped Kurb bays, resulting in home owners not parking in front of their drives....how does this make sense??? Then adding to this by removing more spaces to seats (do people seriously want this?) -
real shame. loved all the food they did.

Is The Great Exhibition getting louder or what?
bilksy replied to Beej's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I don't live next to the pub so wouldn't know exact noise levels but when I've been there on a Saturday I wouldn't say it's a rave. I wouldn't say it was a loud pub. the castle up the road is louder - try that one. The great exhibition has fun nights and good crowd of people. Never any anti social behaviour. Yea beer can always be cheaper but that's the same as everywhere now. And I love the lights (sorry but were you hoping for them to take them down) its all good fun -

hi everyone, I know Ingrid did a fantastic job, she really helped the Dulwich community through art and I want to try and continue getting artists coming into Dulwich. I have a lot of connections with artists - we just need the walls. I am in touch with a street artist with a very large following and he is one of the big names in street art. He said if we can find a wall prominent enough he will paint it. If there is anyone in Dulwich who would like an awesome piece to go on to their wall or knows anyone who could be interest please get in contact. many thanks

I didn't know she was ill. one of the reasons that attracted me too dulwich was the art scene. I have a lot of street art links so would be more then happy to help if there is a team who will be picking this up.

Conor Harrington and remi rough street art
bilksy replied to bilksy's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Sorry forgot to mention. Conor Harrington is the two fighting characters off the roundabout. The remi rough is the abstract piece just off lordship lane. -
Yea and a load on Crystal Palace road. It's not just one, as of late it's been pretty bad! Pretty sure someone never picks up

Yes Old Leigh or Chalkwell is deffitnetly the best parts of the beach. If you go to old Leigh you can also pop by to Leigh Broadway - lots of shops and restaurants to eat at. I'm from westcliff aswell. :D Any questions about the Southend area please ask But the best beaches I've been to in England is studland beaches in dorset
