Recommendation for Dave at Down the Drain
jamesrobinson2 replied to sharmf's topic in Request a Tradesperson
Another recommendation for Dave - he came the next day after I contacted him to take a look at our problem, and quickly diagnosed that it probably wasn't a drain problem. Since in his opinion it wasn't a drain problem, his recommendation was to go for pest control rather than drain work, and didn't even charge a call out fee. Highly recommended for service and honesty. James. -

Quickest repair I've ever seen - fantastic service and couldn't recommend enough. Found on the forum at 11:10, finished by 11:30, brilliant. -

Hi Edek, Did you have any success with the problem above? We have a similar issue and would be interested to hear if you have managed to make any improvement. Thanks, James. -
Recommendations for someone to build in bedroom furniture

Hi Sarah, I'd recommend Richard Jennings-Bramly, who just built us wardrobes, cabinets and a wine rack - he is excellent. http://www.bramly.co.uk James. -
Picture framers - recommendations and advice wanted

+1 - John Hawkins is the name I think, next to the DIY shop. -
We have just had Richard Jennings-Bramly design, build and fit some bespoke alcove units in our living room, fitted wardrobes and window seat in our bedroom, and a vertical wine rack in an unused space in our kitchen in East Dulwich. I would highly recommend Richard as the work is of the highest quality, and he was extremely easy to deal with from start to finish. Richard helped us through many iterations of the designs, offering guidance and assistance throughout, and was always very professional in every interaction. Since his work is of such high quality, we waited a short while from the initial design discussion until he was available to do the work, but we are extremely happy with the result and would recommend him to anyone looking for furniture built with care and attention to detail. Here is his website: http://www.bramly.co.uk James.

I'd add another recommendation for Alan from 1-2-3 Chimneysweeps - he turned up early, was very friendly and left the place tidier than he found it!
