  1. Hi Unf FH PO has changed management and no longer takes passport photos. Snappy snaps in Peckham does photos for ?9.99 and will check for you that they are compliant on the Gov website. They also send you a digital photo for on-line applications. I noticed that there is also a passport photo booth in the Aylesham Centre arcade ?6 (complaint photos- accepted or refund apparently!)
  2. Hello I'd be interested in this too please, similarly for school holiday time and 3-4 hours each week. PM me too please!
  3. Hi everyone Just looking for general advice from anyone who has got their son into Dulwich Prep at the 7+ stage- did you do any specific preparation for the assessment (tutor, Kumon, extra parental help etc), what would you say helped/hindered your application and any general advice on the process at all! I'd also welcome feedback of your experiences of the school. I only know quite boisterous boys who attend and was wondering if this was coincidental or typical of the cohort?? Many thanks TM
  4. I only know about Oakfield next to West Dulwich station. They have breakfast club starting at 7:45am (moved forward from 8am so that parents could easily catch the 8:05 into Victoria) and after school club running to 6pm (available on a regular and ad hoc basis). There are lots of families with both parents working so it's quite usual to see nannies and childminders at the gates. The school is very supportive of working parents eg good coverage of holiday clubs- normally from Upper Foundation (Reception year) onwards but also available for Lower Foundation pupils (rising 4yr olds) if they have older siblings attending the holiday clubs too. In terms of transport to school, pupils arrive by a variety of means; driven (with parents parking in Belair Park), by train to West Dulwich (eg from Beckenham), walking if local, by bus (P13 etc) As Monkey said, there are chance places available outwith the usual entry points. I've heard of instances for all the Dulwich schools (due to families moving out of London, change in financial circumstances etc.) so it's not super unusual. https://www.goodschoolsguide.co.uk/schools/154601/oakfield-preparatory-school/JZBTR75#tab_review Good luck!
  5. Anyone had a science party in East Dulwich and do you think it would work for a 5 year old boy's party or perhaps too old? Any recommendations gratefully received! (This would be for ~1 hour)
