Thanks so much for all the replies - it is to make a Basil Liqueur. In Italy it's made with 00 pure, and I just wondered if I could get that or an equivalent here (or maybe I do need to resort to Vodka?) I will indeed try with caution. Thank you.

I'm looking to make a liquor that requires pure alcohol - which I'm struggling to buy in the UK. I can obviously substitute with vodka, but would rather try and get the pure stuff if possible!! Apparently the alcohol from a chemist isn't appropriate / drinkable? Is my best bet waiting for a trip to Europe where it's more readily for sale?? Thanks in advance EDF.

Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows any ways I can watch Italian TV over here? It doesn't have to be at the same time it's being broadcast over there, but I would like to watch a few series that are currently on, from the beginning. I sadly don't have Sky (not even sure if that would help?!) and I can't seem to watch the programmes I'm after on YouTube (they only show clips). Any suggestions would be really great. Hello, I just wanted to recommend Steve from madeofsquares who has done me some bespoke art work as Christmas presents for my nieces and nephew. They are their initials with their favourite animal next to them and I'm hoping they will be put on their bedroom walls. He let me completely tailor the art work (and my picky colours!) and delivered the work in a great time frame. And not expensive either.
