  1. Hello. Does anyone recognise either person in this photo? We found a drone that belongs to them in Dulwich Park today and would like to return it to them if possible. Thanks.
  2. Did you get your drone back from the tree? I have just seen another post from 17 September that said they found a drone in Dulwich Park. Was it yours? (The reason I was searching for drone posts was because we found one in Dulwich Park today but unless your son is a grown up then it isn?t his - there was an SD card in a camera on this one so we have a photo of the owner, who I?m trying to trace.)
  3. Hello. Just wondering if you ever found the owner of the drone. We also found one in Dulwich Park today, which was blown down from a tree. We?ve been able to get the SD card from the camera on this drone and have a photo, so was going to post the photo on this forum to see if anyone recognises them.
  4. I've found something belonging to a Miss S Sinilaht in Dulwich park this morning (Saturday 27 May). Please reply if you are her or know her. Thanks.
  5. For those of you who are getting fit as part of your new year's resolutions, why not come along to Dulwich parkrun on Saturday. I will be there as the run buddy to welcome all newcomers. So, if you have never been to parkrun before, are nervous of running with others, or coming last, or not being good enough, then I will give you the support and encouragement you need to see that you can do parkrun. Parkrun is a free, timed 5k run, which is open to people of all abilities. Check out their website http://www.parkrun.org.uk/dulwich/ and don't forget to print off your personal barcode and bring it with you. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to comment below. Thanks!
  6. Just a reminder that I'll be at Dulwich parkrun tomorrow. Come along and join us for a 5k run. Don't wait till January to start your healthy resolutions!
  7. Following on from my post last week (posted on 27 November) about being the run buddy at Dulwich parkrun, I will be back there again this Saturday. If you would like to start doing parkrun, but are maybe nervous of coming along on your own or worried that you are too slow or will be last, then please come along and I will give you all the encouragement and support that you need to get round. It's a lovely flat course, so no pesky hills to deal with. A nice easy 5k for anyone starting out, recently completed C25K or returning from injury. Or any other reason you can think of for doing a 5k. Don't forget to register and print your barcode (if you haven't already), and add Run Mummy Run as your affiliated club in your parkrun profile (women only), to help us assess the run buddy initiative. Thanks.
  8. Just a reminder, if you are coming to Dulwich parkrun tomorrow, don't forget to register for parkrun and print off and bring along your barcode. Also, if you are not already affiliated to a running club, please add Run Mummy Run as your club so that we can use this to monitor the success of the pilot (women only). Thanks and hopefully see some of you tomorrow.
  9. Dulwich parkrun* has been chosen to participate in a pilot scheme, in partnership with Run Mummy Run (RMR)**, starting on 28 November, looking at ways to introduce and encourage more people to the fun of parkrun. * Parkrun is a free, timed 5km event ? you can run, walk or jog. http://www.parkrun.org.uk/dulwich/ ** Run Mummy Run (RMR) is an online community of women who run. http://www.runmummyrun.co.uk I am the parkrun/RMR run buddy for Dulwich parkrun. I will be attending 2-3 parkruns each month, and will be the point of contact for new runners, particularly those who might be a bit nervous about attending on their own, or who don?t feel confident running 5k (don?t worry about being too slow, parkrun?s ethos is one of inclusivity ? it is a timed run, not a race). Our aim is to encourage more people (women, men and children) to attend parkrun. Children under the age of 11 must stay with their responsible adult. The start area for Dulwich parkrun is on the main carriageway nearest to the Queen Mary?s Gate entrance (entrance off the South Circular, Dulwich Common). My meeting point will be near to the parkrun flag / bench, from 8:30am. I?ll be wearing a Run Mummy Run hoodie. There is plenty of free parking at Dulwich park (enter via the Old College Gate entrance). Don?t forget to sign up for parkrun in advance of the event and print off your barcode. http://www.parkrun.org.uk/register/form/ To enable us to assess the success of the pilot, if you are attending parkrun as part of the RMR group and you are not already affiliated to a running club, please would you add Run Mummy Run as your running club details on your parkrun profile (women only, I?m afraid!) This will enable us to see how many participants of the pilot there are each week.
