Hello, I'm a singer and have just moved to the area... I really need to get myself established on the gig circuit locally, I'm self contained (own PA etc), singing with backing tracks and I perform a realy wide variety of music from jazz and easy listening to pop, rock and soul from the 60s up to Amy Winehouse and Duffy. I also sing a capella folk music (I especially like Irish folk songs). I have a degree in music and specialised in contemporary vocal performance so if anyone's interested in more avant garde repertoire or collaborating (composers, musicians, dancers, film makers maybe...) please drop me a line. Where would you suggest I try to get myself booked to sing locally? Do you book singers? Do you know anyone who does?
