Megan?s in DV is verging on disgraceful with how bad the food and service is. ?Megan?s on the Lordship? is fully disgraceful with the branding. What the actual F***k is ?the Lordship???

Moxon's Next Door has closed for good

That's a big shame. We ate there frequently and absolutely loved it! -
Which GP Surgery to register with please?
DK_87 replied to beansprout's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
We've just had a baby and need to re-register from our old GP in Clapham to one in SE22. We live by Dulwich Library as well. My take away from researching on the forum is that nobody much likes any of the practices around here?? -
Another recommendation for Dave and the team. Successful boiler service last week. Timely and clean. Thank you

Went through a similar process ourselves a few years back but didn't find the "affordable" solution. Unfortunately, I'm not sure it exists which is why upvc is so common place in these old properties. We were just overhauling existing sash windows that needed some TLC, so bit the bullet and went with Steve at http://www.sundialps.co.uk/ who was extremely helpful and the team did a great job.

Went in for the third time last night. Another excellent meal and certainly a fine addition to the Lane.

Hello Some recent trawling of the forum has alerted me to the fact that there appears to have been a number of instances of credit card fraud as a result of cards not arriving through the mail to people's homes as expected. This has very recently happened to me, with small transactions in SE post codes and then further afield (Nandos, Sainsburys, CO-op etc). I wanted to get a sense of how widespread an issue this has been in the local area. While the Royal Mail / sorting office issues are obviously inconvenient for everyone, this feels like a potential police issue above all else. Please let me know if you've experienced something similar. I have informed Royal Mail, Helen Hayes and the police to cover all bases DK

Missing post since sorting office moved to peckham
DK_87 replied to nina_maniana's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
As well as the stream of missing post / parcels and long queues at Highshore Road, has anyone else had issues with debit and credit cards not arriving as expected? or subsequent issues with fraudulent activity on cards that never arrived? I'm wondering is it potentially a police issue, rather than just a one-off that has impacted us. DK -
Has it changed hands in the last year / come under new management?

There seems to be less for sale signs around the place than 1 or 2 years ago anyway

Le Cave de Bruno on LL does refills for bottles of wine as well

Have Terroirs always owned it or did it used to be independent?

I've grown completely fed up of the unreliable service provided by Hassle / Handy and other web-based portals for finding cleaners. Looking for someone to come for 3 hours every other week in SE22, ideally as someone's first job of the day. Can anyone recommend their cleaner? Are there any cleaners on here looking for additional hours? Thanks DK

Morning all, Looking for a local builder to dig a small French drain (about 1.5m in length) for us to help combat against some damp in the side-return. We have damp specialists doing some work inside but need a drain created outside as well. It'll need an angle-grinder to get through some concrete. Has anyone done something similar / have any recommendations of local builders or labourers with the skills necessary for this? Thanks DK

A self-professed voyeur on the EDF, I can't standby and watch shade being thrown at an amazing local business. The food and drink in the Brick Brewery is amazing and extremely reasonably priced. The people and the venue are also great. Worth a visit for those who haven't already realised how great it is! Viva Brick Brewery!!

This is the most obscene example of a thread hi-jack I've ever seen... really remarkable stuff Le Chardon was great, hopefully Tart will be great as well. The tarts in Tart Clapham are delightful. I look forward to another addition to the Lane :) I <3 #KeyboardWarriors

Any more home games this season? Have recently moved to the areas and took me a while to realise what the pink and navy scarves were about. Keen to show some support. DK
