Can anyone offer a good disco party hire recommendation? I’ve looked on Google but seems a bit full on? Just need someone to give the party a sense of occasion, get the kids dancing for a bit, but still allow kids to do other stuff (eg, crafts) in background for those who don’t want to. Big but not a massive room (so no quiet zone possible)… really don’t want something too manic

Not true. Unless she?s got a temperature? From https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-stay-at-home-guidance/stay-at-home-guidance-for-households-with-possible-coronavirus-covid-19-infection#SymptomsPositiveTest ?You do not need to take any more LFD tests after the 10th day of your self-isolation period and you may stop self-isolating after this day. This is because you are unlikely to be infectious after the 10th day of your self-isolation period. Even if you have a positive LFD test result on the 10th day of your self-isolation period you do not need to take any more LFD tests after this day and you do not need a follow-up PCR test. If you are concerned you may choose to limit close contact with other people, especially those who are at higher risk of severe illness until 14 days after the start of your self-isolation period.?

Thank you Monkey!!! -
Still bad nearly 4 years after giving birth. Causing a lot of back pain and discomfort. A lot of conflicting advice out there, and finding I?m just not sure if I?m doing recommended exercises properly. Would really appreciate any insights, experiences, recommendations?

Thanks Betty This will inevitably happen to us so great to have the advice Starting a new job soon and dealing with the absence from nursery until tested factor is already stressing me out. -
I just wanted to post to recommend Mama Codes. My 8 year old has had a fantastic time online with them over lockdown and is now signed up for their autumn weekly after school online clubs. I honestly can?t recommend them highly enough. Richard is a fantastic online teacher, who is so clear, so patient, and so respectful of all the kids. He has really helped my son grow in confidence and ability/enthusiasm. As he goes back to school tomorrow, just wanted to post this as a thank you and a recommendation. It was one of the few highlights of our week in lockdown and we look forward to carrying on.

Sound proofing/flat issues - need legal advice

We can?t go any lower on the ceiling because of where the windows are relative to ceiling (close). Can?t replace windows obv - also in conservation area so wouldn?t get planning even if mad enough to do that. Otherwise I would have done this a long time ago, and sorted out claims later. -
Sound proofing/flat issues - need legal advice

Yes absolutely - zero. Thanks for link James! Mazza6 All great point and sorry for not clarifying We own 60% ish of freehold. Flat upstairs owners own the rest. We haven?t got a mgt comp, have tried to deal with stuff between us as and when. We insisted on a carpet because they had bare floorboards, that lease specifically outlaws, caused friction but they did do it (not because it was a lease issue mind, saw email thread between them about ?having to appease us? - I think because they?re thinking of a future loft conversion and want easy compliance on various issues).Sound proofing is obviously more expensive- we are offering to pay freehold share. It?s actually made things worse as folks bounce around on nice soft carpet. But they don?t take the lease seriously. Doubt they?ve actually read it. Said they hadn?t a clue about no pets clause when they granted permission about the cat recently. Have done work on communal areas without our agreement Haven?t reimbursed us for work on the front garden that should be jointly funded. And do not pass on the clear noise restrictions in the lease to their tenants. For us - what?s the point in having these safeguards? The noise/ pet issue is most difficult for us, but the rest suck too. -
List of cafes / restaurants now doing delivery or take away
BestBeast replied to Jakido's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Ganapati Takeaway kitchen is shut. I need some kind of alternative. Desperate. Any updates re restaurants/deliveries? Could do with a recommendation,. -
Ok, so definitely not essential, so didn't want to post in the important Covid thread, but I need to get a few basics tomorrow and wanted to avoid Sainsburys as it is DEPRESSING. Well ok. Admitted. I NEED M&S chocolate eggs. I cannot cope with next week home school schedule and my new pre school/toddler crafty-ness without M&S chocolate eggs. Lordship lane store is my closest M&S. We're off to the park very early tomorrow and I was going to pop in. Is this madness? Does an air of apocalypse hang over trusty M&S? Will I succeed in my chocolate egg mission? Or should I avoid?
